Real Videos: 2013 Lexus RX 450h - With Rear Entertainment

It’s really outstanding video, more useful than numerous other videos on youtube about this outstanding advanced technology of RX 450 AWD, the top of the RX line equipment of crossovers. Most of the vehicle reviewers just describe what is already a known characteristics, well publisized, i stead of demonstrating the basic feature operation and focus more on the driving habits in order to get more of the hybrid synergy drive. Yes, since it’s the heavier among RX models when I have asked independent mechanic to check beneath the 2011 450h AWD crossover I purchased in 2024. For my delight and peace of mind this local single owner 13-yr old model was driven only less than 6k mileage per year on average (75k mileage on the odometer) and underneath there was no rust or leak. Sure enough this is due to the California fortunate climate as well. However the mechanic pointed out that this heavier than other RX models crossover will need soon brake pads replacement, as well as in not near future replacement of the shocks, especially the front shocks and brake pads got worn more for the 75k mileage driven until I took over. So, glad that this time I traded-in my previous Ford hybrid for this top of the line of all hybrids, Lexus RX hybrid. 😄😇👍

I've heard the AWD system in the 350 is better, is this true? Also, the 450h has lower ground clearance due to the battery. This means the 350 handles better in snow and inclement weather which is more important to me than saving fuel cost living in a snow state.

Another excellent review John! Keep it coming! I was about to get this but ended up with the regular RX 350. Even at $5.00/ gal and 15,000 miles/ yr. it would take 5-7 years to "payoff" the difference of the 350 vs 450h. By the way, at 8:43, the driver of the red sedan is hijacking your review. LOL!
