The 2014 Kia Forte EX appears longer, lower and wider, while at the same time having features available like heated and cooled driver seat, heated steering wheel and a cooled glove box! Moreover, the 2.0-liter engine is peppy and fun to drive even when mated to the 6-speed automatic transmission. Looking at a a EX in coming weeks, 120k miles for $8995 with full service report, clean carfax to. Seems like be a great compromise between cost, style, and commute purposes. Looked at Nissan Platinum but really $44k...No way!

i got a white one in december and i love it , in Canada you can get a 6 speed manuel with the EX 2.0 L

That's the price of a base Optima, it ain't worth it IMO.
