I just own the Lexus GS350 all wheel drive 2013 It's not the F sport One awesome vehicle Paid $23000 it had 67000 miles on it New it's sold New for 62000 The only option it doesn't have is heads up display I should have bought one years ago Do basic maintenance and nothing ever breaks on it I love my Lexus we'll have it forever

Bought mine 2021 during the bad used car market (had a two seater and needed a sedan). 2014 gs350 f sport black ext with cabernet int. 69kmi for 27k. Wish I could’ve paid less, but it’s been the cheapest car to own including maintenance and insurance. Gas is the biggest expense which is never a surprise and easy to project. Still a good looking car and people are shocked it’s 10yrs old. Naturally aspirated engine. As the trade in value decreases but the cost of ownership remains low, there’s no good reason to get rid of it 🤷🏽♂️

I drive a 2015 GS350 AWD....no F Sport package, and I love it. I've owned a Corvette, a 280Z back in the day, and several Porsches, and I'd take this car over any of them. It's an amazing year for an amazing car.

Again an excellent review. I just purchased a 2015 GS 350 RWD with 29K miles and I absolutely love the car. I opted not for the F-Sport as it didn't really appeal to me, plus for the extra cost I didn't feel I was getting all that much more than what I have in the car now. Thanks for the great review.

if you dont like performance the f sport isnt for you
@doctajonz28282 жыл бұрын
@@russbutsenko3824 If you think F-Sport is performance you’re hilarious my friend. Base and F-Sport basically have the same performance specs. Yes, F-Sport has dynamic shocks, slightly larger brakes, and even 4-wheel steering in some versions, who cares. Both models have the EXACT same HP and Torque. It’s not the car…it’s the driver. The only performance model of the GS would be the GSF.

@@doctajonz2828 you said you didnt go for the fsport. but i have one and know more than you. it takes corners better and has thicker roll sway bar.

I bought a 2015 GS 350 F-Sport RWD (Riviera Red with the dark graphite finish alloy wheels) last December for $21,900. It had 46,000 miles on it. The Lexus dealership had been trying to sell the car for over 6 weeks and they just kept marking it down. I love it!!!

Great review, love the commentary and details for the everyday driver. I learned a lot! I'm looking to purchase a well equipped used GS 350 AWD (3-4 years old) as my very first Lexus in the next few weeks. Great video...thanks!

Did you buy one yet?
@doctajonz28284 жыл бұрын
@@SS-ug1qy I did! I bought one last year in April 2019. I got a pre-owned 2015 Base with the interior Premium Package and a few add-ons with only 29K miles for just under $25K. Although I went with a RWD over the AWD and definitely skipped the F-Sport...as I didn't want to deal will all of the performance add-on maintenance costs down the road of ownership. Base and F-Sport have the same engine, horsepower and torque. I'm happy with my purchase.

The AWD option with the F Sport option seems like poor choice. I'd get one or the other. Personally, I'd go for the F Sport with dedicated snow tires for winter driving. I live in Colorado and had my 2002 GS430 (L TUNED) for 17 years. Ya it sucks for about 6 days/year when the snow is really bad. Ya it's totally amazing for the other 359 days. For 2015 the F Sport doesn't seem to buy you much over the regular model. Basicially more seat controls and bigger nav screen. Can live without either of those. I do like the front end of the 2015 which switched to hideous in 2016. I think I just decided my next ride is the 2015 without F Sport and without AWD.
@anthonyb2990 Жыл бұрын
You get a much better transmission with the AWD. for 2014 and up if you got RWD you got the problematic 8 speed transmission.

Not a bad review in my opinion but not enough info. There was too much "leisurely" talk and not enough facts, no 0-60 time, i hard the HP but didn't catch the torque numbers, how about the sound system and any info at all about the back seats....etc.

I have the GS350 F AWD. I was on the interstate in Drive mode (not manual) and put the car in S+ on a straight away. When I put on the brake to slow the car down engine was stuck in 4000 RPM and would not come down. I had to lift my foot off the accelerator and it eventually came down after about ten seconds. This happened twice in the same day. Is this normal? Should I have pushed the gas pedal? What should I do in these instances? Also, is it ok to switch from Drive to M while actively driving and should i have did this when the engine got stuck in the RPMs?
@neillmcgowan35166 жыл бұрын
As long as 10 seconds is a slight exaggeration, then yes it's normal. The GS350 F-sport has rev match when you put it into sport+

Lexus for reliability. Mercedes for luxury. BMW for performance. I’d pick the Lexus unless you got enough to lease a European car.
