Most singers use autotuned to make their voice sound better, KZ used her voice to make autotuned sound better. It was a breath taking intro, but that was the previous reaction. Loved this rendition by KZ, showed more of her talent. For some more KZ I highly recommend her duet with Jaya of Feeling Good, just some world class singing in that by both of them. Now if you want just a fun, light hearted song, try Doo Wop/Can't take my eyes off you. Great cover of Lauren Hill with KZ and 2 other talented singers

It seems there is no end to your wonderful critique and explanations for not only how the voice and body movements during a performance make for a well orchestrated success. I appreciate your in depth comments and tutorials. It's kind of strange that I seem to be getting the exact teaching I feel is required for me to finish wring my song. I think I may be more apt to sing a song I composed better than singing other people's work simply because I've experienced my song and I can choose the melody. Hopefully that makes sense. Also, I've gone to school for acting and modeling and your videos (and others) help me understand more fully not only the importance of diction and enunciation, but also how to craft it to actually create the characters. By the way-i enjoy your presentation on camera. You seem quite fluid and at ease. In my experience it comes from confidence and that comes from learning. I get lazy off stage, but put me in front of a million people and I'll have everyone entertained and on fire! Truly the crowd fuels the performer to do not only good work, but excellent work. Thank you.

In the competition The Singer, autotune is not allowed to be used by any contestant whether to create an effect or not. One reactor with a background in sound engineer explained that a talkbox was used at the intro of KZ's "Rolling in the Deep" to create that futuristic/robotic sound. Apparently, autotune and talkbox are two different things.

Btw first of all , that's "KZ Tan-di-ngan" hehe. Anyway Fun facts: KZ prepared a different song for this episode and the arrangement for that song came from the Philippines. Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) decided last minute to change the song because they felt the song is not well known in China and asked KZ to perform 'Say Something' instead since this is one of the songs she performed during the audition that really left a mark on them. We had to fly Macoy (her guitarist) last minute for this and she only got to rehearse this song on the day of the recording but still delivered an awesome performance." Also KZ also received a Tweet from the original performers of the song, A Great Big World. The New York-based musical duo said, "Wow. @KZOfficial. Wow." Hope this info helps 😄

Hello. Just want to tell that KZ was once a belter of higher notes but she had a surgery. She was almost hopeless to the point of giving up singing. But she STOOD up over this biggest obstacle of a singer - Issue on Vocal Cords. Now, KZ proves that singing is not only BELTING. Singing is much more than it - creativity, emotion, story-telling. KZ is a PURE ARTIST.

Coach, please allow me to back you up on what you said about KZ using autotune by saying KZ HERSELF said in an interview that she DID use autotune in the intro and that the show organizers allowed it for the chinese audience to see what she is capable of. Here is the link to said interview, she talked about it at the 4:40 minute mark: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYvGq3eiZ9KkpJI unfortunately she said it in tagalog/filipino but you can clearly hear her say the words "autotune "and "intro". Also your pronunciation of her surname was pretty good especially compared to other vocal coaches and reactors, you are right, the ding in her name is pronounced same way as ring but I believe what the other commentors here are trying to to tell you is if you break it down to syllables it is tan-di-ngan not tan-dingan or any other way syllablewise, nonetheless, your pronunciation is pretty accurate. I apologize for the long comment but you are awesome reading through each comment and I appreciate that.

Great reaction sir. I know you already reacted to Morissette's Rise Up, but you should definitely check out the acapella version. Or any of the songs she posts in her channel. Awesome stuff
