Thank you for this great video. I'm a 62 year old women who fished with a tree branch, string and a worm over 50 years ago. I had a bit of a time between the tutorials and my so called expertise to stop losing my catches. With your video I'm ready to keep this game and try and fill my aquarium. Going fishing this time armed with knowledge.

@@relaxingmusictv6897 well easy mode you see the fish like in the video. hard mode you dont see the fish in the water but you get a fish finder. and then expert you have no idea where the fish are so its more immersive

You have the fish if the background is green just click the plus to add to the tank. It says 0 next to the fish because you have 0 in the tank.

how do you reel in those massive sharks in the saltwater levels? I've spent ten minutes a couple times and I just can't land them. im using $4k and $2k rod + reel combo

so what's the deal w when they jump and you slap the rod and it makes a whip noise and sometimes the fish faints. also worth mentioning if you fish on expert (no assistant/tips or indication of fish location), you get 3x exp credit or cash. makes getting through the levels as well as purchasing nice equipment easier

Bought the game yesterday... your vids are pretty good.. how do you add fish into the aquarium ?

On the screen menu go to the screen where it lists all the fish and you can add fish that you've caught by clicking the plus under that fish, if I recall.

I just bought this game and its awesome! Can someone who has played tell me is the background in first location normal to be a smidge blurry? Like its nearly lifelike and doesnt bother me but just wondering if this is normal?

There can be some blurriness in textures, though ensure your headset lenses are clean and it's properly adjusted for your IPD and on your head as those issues can also make things a bit blurry.

Yeah, that sounds about right. PCVR may be a little better than Quest in that regard.

It looks very amazing, but please disable catching carp and other fish that feed from the bottom, on spoons. Catching predator fish is spinning method. Carp fishing is much different method. it will turn off people from buying the game.

I want to listen to spotify in game because I have made a plethora of playlists but It doesn’t seem to work when I type spotify it redirects me to the page then I login but after that I go on web player and it gets stuck on a black screen any help with this issue or does it not support spotify.

Just bought this game but I'm having real problems when reeling in, it seems that I have to reel in at super speed which is spoiling the game for me.

You can turn on one-handed mode then you just use a button to reel in. Shouldn't have to be at super speed, just consistent.

Sometimes a fish will be on my line but will just stay there and keep splashing as I try to pull up and reel it in, is this a different type of fish that I can’t get yet or am I doing something wrong?

Some fish just take a very long time to reel in. If they jump you can jerk them in a bit. Other than that, just keep at it.

For this game versions are very, very similar. Having played both, I didn't notice any differences. I wasn't explicitly looking for differences though.

You do not need Link or PC for Real VR Fishing, there is a Quest native version. Search in the store.

@@substatica nope, that's not it. If I'm in the game, with my rod and reel in my hand, but not fishing. I press the A button once and I get a picture in picture facing front, if I press a second time I get a picture of me, and if I had a fish on the line already caught it would show me and the fish, I was told now pressing the trigger would take a picture of that. But nope

Hi, one of my friends just got a quest and i've got a Rift i've heard that we cannot play together, Is there a way for us to play together? Thanks in advance

I believe your friend would have to download the Rift version and play that version via Link, Airlink or Virtual Desktop to play with you. Real VR Fishing is cross buy so the Rift version should be free for your friend if they've bought the Quest version. Though their progress in the game will not transfer, separate save files.

To my knowledge there's no other way. Just one of the meditative aspects of fishing.

pull back on the joystick for 2 seconds!!! such a lifesaver . that part really started to get old. you can do it w a fish on the line but there's a 100% chance you lose the fish and a 50% chance you lose your bait or lure ... but if you got something dinky or a massive shark , you can skip it

I wish they’d make a fishing game where it’s as real as it possibly can be. IE not having special glasses to see where they are, you don’t know where they are in real fishing and casting in and waiting for a bite. In real life that can be 30 minutes or so, or not at all. I get these fishing games are for people who don’t really fish and would get bored, but for ones who fish out in open lakes all day and catch 4 or 5 fish if lucky is better than this and cast in catch cast in catch looks a bit tedious. There should be an option for gaming fishing or realistic fishing I feel that you can choose from. Not really therapeutic this way in my opinion.

Try changing the mode to Expert and turn the Line option and music off. These changes make Real VR Fishing much more challenging and realistic.
