Rookie question here… how do the use cases and fundamentals/partnerships of Hedera effect HBAR price? Whether in theory or in practice? Of course I understand that a conglomerate of speculative buyers would move the needle up. But other than that, HBAR has seemed to be a tool for Hedera to pull value from the speculative buyers’ HBARs. Conversely Hedera has not seemed to contribute any value to HBAR. I’m not saying I’m right, I’m trying to understand where/how I’m wrong.

The Hbar token is used to pay for fees and services within the ledger, so as more use cases develop and transactions increase, there will be more demand for the Hbar token and price rises

Hedera is almost a category of its own. Get rid of Gensler and establish some clear regulation and we’ll see a stream of enterprise releases - as well as corresponding price “correction” back up to the ath and then - price discovery. There is no other network who can do what they can do.

Assuming no issue with the smart contract (being it real only risk as a liquidity provider). It is could lock up billions of Hbar.
