Genuinely impressed by the amount of work they must've put in to make a relatively straightforward physics/demolition game so beautiful and with so much detail. You can see every futuristic bolt and beam that makes up the structures. And the detail of having hints fly by or sit in the background quite cute and very friendly design. Shame they're more concerned with destroying bridges and building than making them. Imagine if they used their powers for good!..

The Apex PCs are absolutely terrible for their price. The "Apprentice" build has an awful motherboard (ASRock B450M-HDV). A 240GB SSD just isn't enough for a gaming PC in 2022. The CPU and GPU are fine for a low-end gaming PC, but not for a $1400+ PC. The parts are worth about $900 at most, so the PC shouldn't cost more than about $1250. The "Graduate" build's component are fine (though a 512GB SSD is barely enough). However, the components cost about $1400 - less than what the "Apprentice" build costs, and nowhere near the $2300 Apex is charging for it. A $900 overcharge is just insulting. The "Engineer" build's components cost at most $450 more than the Graduate. At least it's not any worse value than the Graduate with its total price being below $2800, but you're still being charged a wildly disproportionate $900 build fee. Shipping to the UK is $90 on top of that. These prices I'm quoting are assuming that Apex is paying full retail price for their components, and particularly bad ones at that (including GPU prices well above the best prices that are available on Amazon, which are significantly higher than MSRP). Realistically they're paying wholesale prices, or at least close to them. I seriously doubt they're paying much above MSRP for their graphics cards. So, the Apprentice is the only one with anything close to a sensible price, still isn't good, includes a terrible motherboard and SSD; and the Graduate and Engineer are a pure rip-off. You can find better deals for prebuilt PCs on Amazon (with free shipping) within a few seconds. Even if these prices are 5% less terrible, they're still terrible.

The prices of those Pc’s are not just outrageous but an utter ripoff! The “value” of the entry Pc is at 1035$ but sold at almost 1500$ even with the discount its just too much! I haven’t checked the other Pc’s for their value, but I can guarantee you they’re not good either. If you want prebuilt Pc’s please go check out tech KZbinrs that understand Pc’s and sell them at “reasonable” prices. (To check the prices just go to google and search the names of the products, and take a value in the middle of all values, or use a website built for that purpose. Again I am NOT here to judge anything but those Pc prices! Love your content Matt! And hope that everyone reading this ha a great day!
