Timber-borners is probably the only series where Matt actually uses his engineering powers or RCE side for the betterment of the settlement without going a little too overboard like the poo Cano in the cities skylines videos and that . I'd say keep it going and get some golems built! Maybe a whole district (heavy metalton?) populated by only golems. @@dukeofthedance8062 I am playing this map on hard mode, I have about 100 or so golems working away. They are a bit hard on resources and take a while to produce but I think by the time most people are at that point in the game resources are not all that much of a concern. Yep, and add irrigation pathways into the crops with a dam at inlet from larger reservoir. All your pathways then become 0.5m depth water storage instead of wasted space and allows you to plant further inland. If you're going really deep in you can do a double depth channel to store even more water behind the dam. You can do a floodgate if you want to store a full 1m of water but it's more to micromanage and general I find it not worth it.

Liqiud hydraulics and fuse boxes in Hondas, blinker switches, steering wheel covers, fan/thermostat knobs, and junction box mounts in Toyotas as well as many other parts that would not function properly, break/fail, or just be trash if it wasn't for my job, or the many others that could replace me if I lost this job lol. We are just a small company that makes small parts for larger companies that make/assemble the parts with other components and ship the finished goods to either a third party for more assembly or send them to the car manufacturing plants all over the world. Personally I'd keep going, there's loads of map you can expand out to, and you can add stuff like the golems (and with update 3 not too far away, that might be a good time to start again). One of the things I did that I definitely recommend for that map is building some mechanical pumps between the dam at the bottom of the river and the new Giga-reservoir, as that way you can move the captured water at Heavymetalton that isn't that useful, back upstream so it can top up farms etc. You could even use the golem's & terraforming to do that instead of making levees. And surely you should do something with the strongest shaped lake right? Maybe a new farming district? There's some joke to be made there around strongly shaped things bringing life surely?

you could deepen the whaters arround your farms on the main district and get rid of the little dams so the superubermegadam will support the farming on its own and for longer time.

Yes! Please keep going with the helix map! This is the perfect map to survive long droughts but still built out golems and more technology. Give the beavers their best lives possible.

Personally I'd stop pumping the sections of water meant to feed your crops. They'll stay hydrated longer and reduce the risk of dead crops. Of course you could also use the water dump surrounded by dams or terrain to hydrate a large radius at all times. It's honestly an incredibly powerful tool and lets you move your farmland away from the rivers...so you can pump and store even MORE water.

*HINT...evaporation is calculated only on the top level of a tile. More surface means more evaporation, deep hole but small diameter means less evaporation. If you're spreading all that water across a one block deep area, all along that spiral "helix," then ALL that water is subject to evaporation!

Make your beavers happy! if you give them more varieties of foods, more entertainment, and monuments they will work better & faster. Plus it's just a nice thing to do.

Correct me if i'm wrong, the water only erapprates from the top 'layer' so if you build an aquqduct in the middle of the area you want to keep green. And build it to be the same heigt as the water source. Then it can pretty much, never run out? With all these lakes there is to much surface area?

I've binged all of the Timberborners now, and I am shocked. You keep wondering what hp/cms means, considering it is water wheels that produce more power the faster they spin, it must be measuring water flow, like cm per second or something. Yours sincerely - a humanities scholar. P.s. google suggested cubic metre per second, which makes even more sense.

new map. You've dominated this one. Maybe try a really vertical map, and build some cybeaver-punk vertical hellscape. Of course, whats more cybeaverpunk than robots (golems)? Build a BeaverNight City, RCE.

Tip for RCE: build a small warehouse for each of the special materials: planks, gear etc and forbid them from the larger ones that should be food exclusive unless you are gearing up for a massive construction project.
