so the way things stack is the effect happens (stack size) times, but the chance stays the same. so 25% chance to heal 5 becomes 25% chance to heal 5 and heal 5 again. specifically its 2 5 point heals, not 1 10 point heal, which means the heal booster is more effective since it adds the same amount to both heals instead of just one.

Regen plus hp increase with the right other perks early on is broken as hell and unlike other games that have the potential to break early with such mechanics that end up tweaking so if you get certain items others are much rarer until late in the run it feels like this game sometimes encourages broken synergies early, like grabbing an ability that is currently useless to you can often make abilitys related to it show in the next shop and often it's the higher tier cards needed for that synergy, that all said sometimes you'll have a run and get nothing but the worst combos and the run is slow and tough I've yet to have a middle of the road experience it's either a walk in the park or a walk through hell 😂

Theres a company that makes plushies through some sort of deal (usually youtubers and such) and they are produced either through certain amounts of time or certain amount of plushies idk which. I'm really enjoying this game, but it is way too RNG dependent. They need more ways to filter your picks. Rerolls when you beat a boss, perks to add rerolls, that sort of thing. At the moment while I like it, it's also really frustrating.

​@@RealCivilEngineerGaming Even if I accept review bombing by bots as an argument, which I don't, the price is still outrageous for a game like that. Just by going by what I've seen in your video. I scrolled through the reviews just now to check for signs that they're actually bots. While there's some accounts with only half an hour of playtime, most are anywhere between 2 and 10 hours. Those are accounts that have paid for the game and have beef with that game. I've translated about 30 of the reviews and they do contain legitimate criticism. Most commonly the differences between demo and release, as well as the pure RNG for the perks/builds. Since you need to get lucky to get that one card you got, or maybe always have to pay for it in the dialogue(?), and beat the game to be allowed to reroll so you can actually go for a specific build and not be screwed over by the RNG. That is a very legit reason. They are paying customers, as I'm not aware of a way to fake ownership and playtime in steam to be able to do reviews. And since I can follow the logic of the criticism through watching the content here, I have to see and account them as legitimate. The dev(s) may not like the negative reception, but it is what it is. I wouldn't like it in their stead, and I do hope that when I'm done with my game that it doesn't get that kind of reception, but I'd still take the criticism serious since it seems to be fixable and a lot of the reviewers still did play the game further, even after their review. So it does seem salvagable. Still not paying that amount for a game that looks and feels like a free browser game...

It's about the quality of a free browser game back in the day, maybe 5 bucks would be OK since there won't be ad revenue like the browser games back in the day had. The reviews seem legit. Also they're not purely negative, there's also positives in between. With bot review bombing I wouldn't expect that.

I had really high hopes for this game.... But it suffers from a major issue; it's a $2 phone app for $16 on the PC. Like, for what the game is, it has NO business being the price that it is. The ONLY thing that sets it apart from all the mobile card battle clones is that it's not chok full of ads and charging you microtransactions. But this is not a concept or development that is worth the price being asked, it's just too weak an entry in an oversaturated genre.
