Guy does a fantastic job. I still can't seem to get it to lay back just right. The breakdown thing and at the end with the toms - great modification from the original. Definitely using that in our version.

I'm a lifelong drummer (40 years) who started playing bass guitar a few years ago. I can tell you that the bass part is much harder than it sounds and it just as critical as the drums to making this song work. I think Nathan East was the original bass player and he kicks buttox!

Footloose, okay, it hit the charts... danger zone, top gun, it was there... thats all I can think of. As a kid in elementary school. My sister her friends and i took the public bus an hour away to watch footloose. It was being shown at the Sherman oaks galleria. The galleria is where they filmed Fast Times At Ridgemont High. We road the bus back. Dropping us off at a park late at night. We the got chased by mexican gangsters all the way home. It was all worth it. I miss the 80s.

How Darryl his band and guest(s) pull this off is beyond me. They have guests of so many musical categories and they nail it every time. This is yet another excellent reprise of a great song. Kenny can still belt a note!

One of the greatest bass lines in history, and they show Nathan twice during the entire video while the guitars and playing 3 chords and the percussionist is hitting a tambourine lol

Thanks Andy's Guitar for sending me here. It was amazing! That drummer is great. He always brings it on time with feeling. The lead is also unbelievable! Never a bad note, incredible riffs. The rest are pros that bring joy with rhythm. A great band to back up Daryl. Wish I lived at his house.
