Is there any point in naming the trustee as an additional insured on the property policy?

Considering that a trust entity can have an EIN, if there is a rental property owned by a trust entity, should the tenant send rental payments to the trustee entity or the trust entity?

Either options works but I would send the payment to the trust directly.

What if the Florida land trust gets sued for a vicarious liability. Say a Tenant pulls out of a property owned in the trust, in doing so he strikes a person on the sidewalk and injured that person. They sue the driver and include the FL land trust in the suit. The land trust has no insurance nor can they get insurance, for that use. Is the property in this case the max loss?

Correct but the land trust must have insurance covering the property otherwise the creditor could pierce the trust..

@@ClintCoons Is what you're saying is that, the trust losses the property only. Or they can go after the trustee and the beneficiary as well.

The trustee is named as the party who represents the trust not as an individual ( I would assume)
