I lived in Turkey in the 70's, it was my first time living in a foreign country. I loved the culture, the food was amazing and the people were friendly and kind.

There's no pork in Turkey, unless you live on American military base. The country is Muslim, they don't eat pork. I know because I lived there decades ago!
