Picking up off a comment further down. Does Meghan ever wear outfit twice or more like Catherine and many of the other Royal ladies? Would be an interesting bit of Googling if nothing else. I can’t recall seeing her in the same outfit more then once and she does have a reputation of selling her clothes after wearing them. I hope she has them cleaned first😳🤣

Catherine wears a number of dresses which are well fitted, but understated. Catherine doesn't choose clothing meant to shout, "Look at me!" Of course, one does look at her because she looks good. Yes, plus the belt is under her breasts, and way up high. It looks strange. She has a short torso and should NOT wear a belt, unless it's low, and fit right, with the right outfit. But NOT with every single outfit, as well as wearing the giant trench coats. I do believe she fired all the tailors and custom designers who were fitting her. She didn't like what THEY did, and only wanted what SHE wanted. So, she's wearing the things she picks herself, and they dont FIT HER, or her shape , she truly doesn't know WHAT looks best on her figure. But some people are unteachable. We often aren't our own best judges, and need outside input sometimes.

The Princess of Wales always tries to give a nod to the organisation she is visiting with her clothes choice - with Wimbledon the first dress had prints on tennis balls, and the green dress was the same shade of the Wimbledon green and purple colours. MM's off the shoulder Carolina Herrarra dress is not acceptable for an event during the day. Shoulders should always be covered except for evening events. If you think that is 'stuffy' there is a reason for it - it sets the tone to other invitees to the event that 'day clothes' are expected to be worn, not evening dress.

I love that Princess Catherine re wears outfits, it’s so considerate of the rest of the commonwealth, we all have to re wear outfits all the time, especially expensive dresses etc to special occasions because a normal income earner cannot afford to buy an new outfit for each event we go too. By Princess Catherine re wearing outfits she is showing the rest of us that she is not flaunting her wealth in our faces while we are all struggling to keep the lights on. Unlike Meghan who will only wake at one overly expensive unflattering and wrinkly outfit once and you never see her in it again, flaunting to the world, “look at me, I can buy what I want, when I want, nah, nah, nah”!!! Please can someone explain what on earth was with those white pants she wore with the bell bottoms dragging on the ground, do she not own a full length mirror??? 😂

I think Meghan see things worn on catwalks and really thinks that she would look just like those super models. She should by now know what works on her figure, but she is blinded by the price tag. She really does not have a style uniquely her own. There are so many instances where she clearly copied someone else. Princess Catherine has a definitive style. That is why she is a style icon and designers love her because anything that she wears is sold out very quickly.

Carolina Herreira never misses. The problem with the red dress is the fit, not the dress. For some reason, chooses to wear styles that do not flatter her shape. Imagine the same dress on a taller person, Kate or Diana. It would be breathtaking.

MM has a short torso but actually has long legs despite being short overall. This means her rib cage & waist are close together and her natural waist is quite high. Catherine on the other hand is a more rectangular figure, straight up & down with narrow hips. To balance this she often wears wider shoulder, with tailored coats & dresses to give her a curvier figure. MM wears things too tight or massively oversized which look even worse on her petit figure. The blue Victoria Beckham dress is a good example, stylish but way too tight. Emilia Wickstead is a favourite of Catherine who has worn her designs on many occasons. I think that MM purposely chose her to design her outfit so Catherine couldn't use Emilia on that occasion. Luckily Catherine had the last laugh. MM must have thought she looked so cool wearing one of Catherine's favourite designers clothes. She deliberately broke the dress code on this occasion ( suggested as red, white or blue dress code) by wearing green. The colour was far too dark, the fabric too shiny & the design... well we all know the 'Kermit' outfit failed miserably. Catherine & MM often use the same hat designers each hat is made bespoke but MM hats always look out of proportion, despite being bespoke. Can you compare MM maternity outfits or Invictus outfits. She spent a fortune on them. Whilst many Veterans there struggle to make ends meet, she spends more on her accessories than Veterans yearly disability pensions. Hmm very empathetic of her 🤔

I think part of it is knowing what shapes flatter and what doesn’t. Kate has a good grasp on this and it’s why she almost always looks incredible. I think Megan is going for the name and price tag and ignores all else. If it is the most expensive she’ll get it. The second is that in a lot of these Catherine has chosen very classic and timeless pieces which gives her a very refined look (and good for rewearing 😉).

Meg has 2 "worst" outfits. #1 that red thing she wore to some formal wvent that did not fit her bust at all and was just awful in general. #2 that green outfit with what looked like a sewn on cape and, as usual, was a horrible fit.
