I owned a down comforter, they can be washed. I did mines at the laundry mat. I used regular laundry detergent. I used tennis balls in the dryer, since there is feathers in it. Mines was queen size. I kept mines until I became allergic to feathers. I washed mines twice a year, since I used a duvet cover. Have a great week Shawna 😊!

I thought about it and then not sure how we would go about having the bookshelves. I thought about moving them in front of the fire place and putting a couch on either side of the fireplace but that would take space away from the dogs having space to play so I haven’t done it. I prefer they play here vs up in the living room with the glass tables . I think a small sectional would be cute too 😩😩

Girl wash the down comfort on the gentle cycle don't throw it away I have one and I wash it in that cycle and it stays fluffy those comforter are expensive

To clean my down comforter I put on extra spin. Then it dries in the dryer faster. I also fluff it half way through. Been doing it for years. It works great. ❤. Hope it does for you.

I wash my queen size down comforter at home. I do an extra rinse on it because it’s bulky. I’ve never put it in the dryer though. I just let it dry on some chairs in my dining room. It does take forever though. Even if I was it at 7am, it’s still not complete dry by 10pm when we go to bed.

That’s my fear. It’s cold here also so where I could put it it would probably freeze. I don’t have anything to hang or drape it on without ruining furniture so I been scared. I think I’m gonna try and air dry it on low in the dryer and take it out and move it often and see what happens

A duvet cover for your down blanket will keep you from having to wash it often

I need a new one. The one we have has a zipper on the bottom but it doesn’t go the whole length of the blanket and it makes it so extremely difficult to use the duvet hack and get the blanket in properly. I took it off and that’s how my down comforter got messy from the dog 😩 I put this cotton one on though for now. I’m gonna try and wash the down. I never washed it yet so we will see. I’ll

@MomLikely yeah they can be a nightmare to get on sometimes. I eventually got sick of it and got us each separate queen sized blankets, the soft, fuzzy ones you can get anywhere, and we've slept so much better since. No more tug of war over the blanket and we can regulate our own temperatures better. Highly recommend separate blankets for couples
