You should get a little basket to hold your bathroom products that are on your counter in your half bath. That way it will look more tidy and be easier to take off the counter when you are cleaning. 🙂

We used to have a white porcelain kitchen sink. I cleaned it by placing a white paper napkin at the bottom covered with liquid bleach. Let it sit for 15 minutes and toss the napkin. It always looked bright white with a shiny finish. Best wishes!

Hi Shawna, You’re so philosophical for someone your age. It’s such a pleasure to listen to you talk. Routines are just habits that happen over time. Maybe pick one room or area at a time and make it a habit. Love your outlook on life and parenting. ❤

I thrive on a routine, but my work schedule makes it very difficult to get into a routine. I LOVE to read, but I rarely have the time, so I've been listening to audiobooks while I clean. It definitely motivates me to clean because then I can listen to my book. My kids seem to think that if I have my wireless headphones on that I want to have a conversation lol. I won't have them on, and they won't even acknowledge my existence, but the second I start listening to something - they magically appear lol. I've listened to the ACOTAR series of books, and Fourth Wing. I just started From Blood and Ash. Have you read/listened to any of those? I saw this planner of all planners on Facebook reels the other day that I really want. It has everything from vacation planning, to budgeting, to goals, etc. It's huge, but I think it would be so nice to have it all in one book. I love a good planner.

Using the plunger did a surprisingly good job. Something else you might try is some drain cleaner that has enzymes (possibly bio-enzymes that would break down any gunk.

Okay another thought while I continue watching this video. First, your youngest..it is so awesome to see her growing interest in cleaning and organizing and helping. I think back to your old house and while she may still create a mess she is going through the process of picking up and even throwing stuff away. Regarding your comment of trying to find more time to do things you are wanting to do and not just clean and feel like you are taking care of everyone else /everything else. As time passes, I can guarantee your husband and kids aren’t going to look back and wish the house was cleaner or that mom didn’t do good enough - they are going to wish they had spent more time with you.making memories, laughing, and experiencing life. I guess another day to look at it and not trying to be morbid is when life is coming to an end..you don’t wish you had worked more or cleaned more. That has worked well for me. Sorry for the long post.

Heavy duty paper towel laid at the bottom of the bin (trash can) soaks up the extra moisture. I drop a couple of trips of antibacterial concentrated zoflora on there too. After a couple of days just put the paper towels in the bin bag
@MomLikely2 ай бұрын
When I’ve tried something along these lines the moisture just ends up creating smell. I could put paper towel in there also but maybe it’s what we throw away or something.

Hi! I’m sorta of new to your channel and I just like the fact that your home is lived in! I wanted to ask, where are you looking for an editor ? I’m always interested in learning about the back end of being a KZbinr.
@MomLikely2 ай бұрын
Welcome. Starting out, editing yourself is the way to go. As for learning, lots of tutorials and practice from KZbin and producing videos or courses online from experts. It’s considered freelance work so learning and then posting to freelance job postings to be hired or apply for job postings on hiring sites.

@kellymason4015 last year I think we only got to sled one time because we barely got snow that stick so idk if we will be able to this year.
@MomLikely2 ай бұрын
@stephanieengler7545 I know. It’s definitely enjoyable being from the Midwest having mildly cold weather because we are stuck in the cold more months than warm but it is weird. We like to sled at least once so it’s nice when it sticks for a few days to get time to go all together.

You should not allow the dogs to come in the door that way because you'll get in that room it should be off limits because it's a dinning room. If you use a pot too under the micro towel then scrub it. Good luck👍👍

Hi Shawna, i am Home health aide I basically take care of elderly and military veterans in their homes, i clean there house and assist with showers I ended up getting bursitis in my left shoulder from fall at Walmart and was sexually assaulted my one of my male client, I haven’t assist a male shower for almost two year, my transmission is going out in my car now and now I Decided going back go full time again kinda overwhelmed
@MomLikely2 ай бұрын
Very sorry to hear of that unfortunate event. The worst is to help others and be taken advantage of in any shape or form. I would definitely work on your healing and staying out of helping with showers. Do you have car auctions near you? My husband has replaced many vehicles from auctions instead of buying. Not sure of what is available but junk yards often let you pull parts off of vehicles in the yard for used parts price. That may be helpful if you have those. It’s hard to start new things and revisit troubling ones but exposure therapy can be helpful and we have to remember our misfortunes don’t have to be in charge. We have to be strong and have faith knowing others before us have done it and we can get through 🩷🩷🩷
