Today on Realistic Fishing we are crappie fishing with fake minnows. Beginner level crappie fishing like this is easy when you have small minnows and the timing is right. Since the weather is starting to cool off, and the days are getting shorter, the crappie are more active. I also catch a bluegill and a surprise skipjack! Always fun to see large birds of prey while fishing. I often see Bald Eagles when I'm fishing. Sometimes a few days in a row. Doesn't matter, it's awesome every time.

I was slaying the brook trout on BG-1s earlier this fall, absolutely delicious fish. We don't have crappie in CO like you do, but man I need to find more of them! I'm still tasting the crappie I fried up last year.
