I love these type of videos. They really help me a lot in understanding what "adult" life in Korea is really like. Although I am not too sure of I want to work in Korea later on since the working culture seems so intense. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us!

Ahhhh yes, I know what you mean~ A lot of Korea content is from students, which is great because most people come as students. But if you're wanting to work here, there isn't much content from people who aren't teachers ㅠㅠ As for the apartment tour/ apartment hunting video, I don't have one~ I'm hoping to film that type of content when I move out of my current apartment because I don't feel comfortable sharing my home online in that way while I still live in it~ It's a peace of mind thing... You may have already seen them, but there are a lot of videos talking about how to find an apartment here in Korea~ If you haven't seen them yet, I think you'll find them helpful~!

I loved this video! I was born and raised in one county but only worked in a different one (born in Italy, moved to the UK from university on) so I live in this limbo where I am "culturally" Italian but the only working culture I know is British. And they can be so different lol I love hearing about different work environments around the world ❤

I'm sooooo awkward when it comes to emotions and words of encouragement 😅😅 But thank you for all of your support~ Omg I love learning about cultural differences as well~ Especially ones related to work culture~ I don't know why, but it's so interesting to learn what's considered normal in other parts of the world~

Most people refer to long working hours, overtime working, and stress when talking about Korean work culture. It's changing a lot, but honestly, it's still some true. bcz Basically, Korea has only human resources. Light and darkness coexist in everything in this country. Of course, there is a lot to think about in terms of labor productivity. But there are still times when this world risks darkness for light. Yeap. Take care 😊
@NataliaGarza
@NataliaGarza Жыл бұрын
Ahhhh yes~ I didn't bring those things up because I thankfully don't experience them at my company~ I've only ever had to work overtime three times over the past 8 months and never for longer than an extra hour~

Hahaha I can't even imagine using my kitchen that little... as a fellow 집순이 I mostly eat at home, and it's mostly super basic one-pan meals like 김치볶음밥. Actually, home-making it is not that much different than what you did for the frozen one... just throwing some ingredients into a pan and stirring it! I'd be down to watch your first adventures cooking it 😆

Fascinating! How did you choose your "Korean name"?
@NataliaGarza
@NataliaGarza Жыл бұрын
My Korean name is based off the Chinese name my Mandarin teacher gave me back when I was in high school! Before I came to Korea as an exchange student, one of my Korean friends told me I NEEDED a Korean name. So he took the Chinese characters and then gave me a few different variations of Korean names that included at least one of those hanja~

I don't understand people having so much caffeine. I have two cups of tea during my waking hours, totaling 140mg caffeine. I don't go beyond that to avoid having a headache. I see other people down cup after cup after cup, and no protein to help them stay awake. All it seems to do is cause a lot of bathroom breaks....
