Thank you for posting a video update. I want to say that I am overjoyed that through much prayer, sweat, and tears, that you were able to fulfill your dream of becoming a mom. Continue to be patient with yourself. You’re doing fantastic! Continue doing what you have to do to hydrate, fuel up, and sleep. If that means that he watches sports, so be it. The house will get clean eventually. Other things will get done. But you’re doing the right thing prioritizing you and your baby’s health and well-being. Hoping that Daxton gets a break through as it relates to sleeping. I know sleep deprivation is tough. Be blessed. Be well.

Thank you so much for sharing! I have been in kind of a “stuck” state over the last few months, and watching this today was just the encouragement I needed. My husband and I have been married for quite a few years now and are going to be trying for babies soon. I hope this doesn’t sound strange, but for a moment I saw where I want to be in my life prayerfully within the next year. Seeing you wearing your baby boy and getting things done at home pushed me to get up and start working on some of the things God has put on my heart to have the ability to be a stay-at-home/work-from-home mommy. Thank you for your authenticity and not trying to make everything look perfect. It’s so refreshing and much needed in spaces like this!

I love that you are authentic with the details about your motherhood journey. You're doing good, we learn as we go and EVERYBODY'S journey is unique. I remember those exhausting days but everything is so worth it in the end. Thank God for the real blessing of not having to leave home and do a babysitter drop off and then get yourself to work. I went back to work as a teacher when our babies were 3 months each and still breastfeeding.

Motherhood looks good on you, and remember it's okay to need a breather here and there so it's okay to ask Momma Sonya or friends/family for help every now and again to have you some you time, it will benefit you and baby boy.

Oatmeal water is great for increasing breast milk. You soak the oatmeal in lots of water overnight then drain off the liquid…sweeten & flavor before drinking. It can be taken warm.

It was so nice seeing your handsome little baby boy. What helped us a lot, as new parents, was when our mothers' would take turns spending time with our baby. His mom would stay with us for a while, and watch her overnight while we slept.

Congratulations on your beautiful blessing. I can sympathise with the lack of sleep and little /no nap time. My daughter was the same. Don't want to alarm you but she never got into naps and she was 4 before she started to sleep through the night. As much as you love your little baby it can make it very hard. I also am on medication for depression and anxiety and the lack of sleep got me down at times. All I could do was acknowledge the feelings and accept any help that was offered. Love to see you and baby Daxon! Being a mom is hard regardless if it’s your first, 2nd or 3rd because all babies are different. I love that you’re okay with the changes and challenges💕 Also, my 2nd had acid reflux and wouldn’t sleep for more that 30 mins if we were it holding him or he was in his swing because he was sitting up more. We didn’t know at first, especially because he wasn’t spitting up which is what normal acid reflux looks like. but By the 3rd month we were exhausted I asked friends and family on social media for help and my friend told me to have his Dr check for acid reflux. He prescribed drops and it was a God send! After the first day of giving him these drops(once in the morning and once in the evening) he began to sleep more and cry/fuse less. We had also tried changing my diet before since I was breastfeeding and at 2 months I stopped bf all together and just formula fed him and nothing helped until we got the drops from his Dr. Our son took these drops daily until he began solids. If you’re still having trouble, maybe you could look into it.
