Realistic Fishing with a Texas Rig! Summer Bass Fishing from the Bank

Today we are doing some realistic fishing with a Texas rig! Summer bass fishing from the bank can be challenging, and a small Texas rig just might be what the bass want. I am fishing a 1/16 oz Texas rig with a Z Man ned craw. Summer is a great time to fish a small craw along the bank. I like to cast near the edge of the weeds, near docks, and around other structure. The small size takes a bit more finesse, but dragging it on the bottom is pretty easy. Next time you are out there doing some summer bass fishing from the bank, consider a Texas rig craw.

Those were mayflies! Bass and panfish love em, if you fished a hellgramite and kept it close to the surface you would do quite well under that tree mimicking a drowning mayfly

Couple of nice bass fish 👍. The downsizing is working some for me here too using Zoom z-craw jr’s. They’re working a lot better than 6 to 8 inch worms or bigger creature baits. Great vid!!!
