🔥Realistic Gel & Pigment Flame Nails🔥

Ey up duck
In today's video we are going to be doing flame nails, but not like hotrod flame nails more realistic flame nails! Keep watching.
We have my favourite client ever today! She is, of course, the Aleana hand and I have already prepped some of these nails so ill show you on one and then we can get straight into the good stuff!
I'll start by using the Kirsty Meakin base coat and give that a cure,
Then I’ll apply two coats of Kirsty Meakin Void that is our black the blackest black you ever did see, then I'll give them a coat of topcoat.
Now I’ll give that a buff over and remove the sticky layer from that and give it a wipe over.
With my Meako Gel Brush, I’ll go into my darkest colour which will be Fin in this case and I’ll create some flame shapes and pull through those again to remove the pigment from the centre of the stroke and cure that.
Now ill take some Pigment powder and I’m starting out with this purple and I’m going to use some of the powder on a lint-free pad to saturate my sponge then ill press that into the lower half of the sticky layer on the blue, then il do the same with some blue pigment on the upper half and dust off any Excess.
Now ill take my Sharkey and mix in a little bit of white-out to lighten that up to where I like then ill repeat the process overlapping the blue flame when they are all done give them a cure and we will move on to the bright pink pigment for the lower half of these flames and then ill add some white pigment to the pink I already have to lighten that and use my new lighter pink for the upper half of these flames and dust off.
Now ill mix sharked with Fin to create a nice purple colour same thing as before creating some overlapping flame shapes and then we will use the purple pigments on the lower half of these ones then we will add some white pigment to that to create a lighter purple and use that for the upper have of the flames.
We have hit a checkpoint here so I’ll give that a topcoat and a cure then we can add some more detail on top of that.
Now I’m going to use my Cassidy detailer brush with some white-out Gel Polish and create some highlights then I’ll take my Meako Aqua and disturb one edge to fade it in with the rest of the flame.
Then ill give these a matte topcoat and that’s it guys I hope you enjoyed this video and ill see you in the next one T’Rah Duck

That flame set is Bee-u-tee-ful! Maybe do your hair the same? Start at the bottom with pink then blue then purple? Maybe some white highlights? No matter what you do it's gonna look good!

My guess for your new color stripe is neon green since Halloween is coming! Also, I love Enailcouture's Lux Brush Wipes and his newer Nail Care Brush Wipes that are bigger and you can get away with either cutting them so they last longer or just use the whole thing for 1 set! I know you've worked with Max before and his products are all I use!😍💅💖😍

Hi Kirsty, I love all of your videos and have wished you can come up to Scotland at my house to do my nails. Looking for advice, I have suddenly got ridges on every nail, any idea why this has happened. Also I have my thumb nails grow then start to curl at the sides then just break. I've also got three nails that when they start growing they tilt to one side, almost like scales where one side is heavier than the other. Hi Kirsty - I'd like to ask you about a nail issue I've experienced that has nothing to do with this video! I can't find anything anywhere that explains what to do to fix the problem; Maybe you can help? It's an acrylic overlay that has been filled over several services, with no lifting product issues on top of the nail, the issue is underneath. The natural nail is coming away from the free edge allowing moisture to get in between the acrylic and natural nail. I have even e-filed some of the natural nails underneath away from the free edge, but still, it's separating - What do you do to stop this from happening?
