The days are long... but the years are short. Cherish every moment. They do grow up so fast. Yes, a Mamas work is never done. I too throw clothes in the washer during the week... then do my laundry on the weekend. My son and grandson are both Vincent. After constantly having to explain which one .. we now call Daddy Vince... and the son Vincent. Actually as grandma... I call my grandson Scooby... haha

Also, I fixed my son baby food with the healthiest grade of fruits and veggies when he was able to ! I loved making fresh and no added things into his body. Doing a great choice .

Oh Cass he's absolutely gorgeous!! Those big dark eyes and all that beautiful black hair.. girl i could just eat him up🥰 I was a first time mom, long ago lol, but i do remember! Its not easy in the beginning for sure. I remember bouncing & rocking with my foot at times😄 But as time goes you'll find your rhythm, what works for you guys. Of course he'll always demand your time but it will get easier. The older he gets he learns to entertain himself A little more as time goes. Just soak in all these moments when he depends totally on you, you'll cherish them one day! My kids are grown, both are parents. But my Son, my baby, i miss those times so so much. Lol he's still needy when moms around, and that's ok with me😁 I live in Tennessee, he's in Florida.. but when i go visit he always want me to stay for a couple weeks or months and he gets all that he can from mom😄 and i love it! His baby just turned 7mths, she's sarting to entertain herself more and her mom already misses the newborn time. Just do what you can when you can! Those feeding timesAre the most precious of all! Yeah for YOU! You made this old elementary school librarian’s heart sing a happy song when I saw you reading for your blessed little baby. I 100% agree with Emilie Buchwald who stated, “Children are made readers in the laps of their parents”. The best way to increase your child’s vocabulary is to read, read, read with him! He is not talking yet but he is already learning the sounds, tempos, inflections, and cadences of laguage. In addition, he is already learning to love reading - - - especially with his sweet mom!❤

Hi Cass, I would love to see a life update in regards to MTHFR lifestyle. I just found out I'm homozygous for 677T and I've had 3 miscarriages. Unfortunately, I haven't found a doctor who would listen to me and help us. I'm not giving up, but in the meantime, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about MTHFR and trying to do all the life changes and habits that come with this condition. Blessings!

He is absolutely adorable! I remember those days well. I had 3 babies in 4 years and when the oldest was 15 I had a bonus baby. Lots of work but all precious blessings! ❤
