I love your suggestion of doing 30 minute cleaning throughout the day. I often get overwhelmed and will just skip it all together, but end up paying for it the next day when the mess has grown. And I'm on team loading the dishwasher too. I don't know why I hate unloading it so much, but I definitely do. It's like with laundry, I'll wash, dry, fold it, but putting it away is such a chore.

We moved in our home that we built in 2004. We had 13 of us and 9 mos later 14. We got 2 dishwashers, 2 washer and dryers and a double oven.. We have 5 living here now and they are still in use.

I like loading the dishwasher much more than unloading it. There is something so satisfying about filling it up, putting in the dishwasher gel and closing up and turning it on. I also love scrubbing my kitchen sink and watching others scrub theirs. Isn’t that so weird?! Lol. It’s just one of those task I find so relaxing and rewarding. Thanks for another great video!

When my children were young, my floors and counters were picked up and cleaned about 11 am and 5 pm while dinner was cooking. After dinner, I did dishes and counters. Then we would watch a program while I went over homework. I am/was a teacher but at home I was mom checking homework. Then we read books. Sometimes they chose and sometimes I chose. My experience as a teacher always proved students that read at home did better at school. All of my children (4) are college graduates with successful careers. Spending reading time is as important as clean dishes. Love the short video. God bless you and yours.

My mom was told years ago by a pest guy that if your going to leave food or dirty dishes out just put them on the floor so the bugs do crawl on your counters.

Followed your lead after you bedroom decorations by taking down my curtains and washing them, then decided to wash the walls & OMG. The water was so brown 🤢. After that dusted all my bedroom furniture, dresser, chest of drawers, my four poster bed & the night stands. They were so dusty! My husband and I just tiled our laundry room floor & the dust was everywhere. So I continued the wall washing to the hallway. Never thought of ever doing that & it wasn’t that hard…So thanks so much for that motivation. I’m a empty nester so nighttime kitchen cleaning is a breeze…most of the time 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’m the same way with dishes! I’ll load, hubby will unload! Our son (age 7) is almost tall enough to be able to put them away too, but we mostly put him on silverware and kid cup duty. And of course my little miss who just turned 3 in February, always wants to “help” with everything! Lol!

To get your skillets to look like new, spray them (top and bottom) with oven cleaner then cover with Saran Wrap let it sit overnight. In the morning it will scrub clean very easily and look like new!!

What are you spraying your surfaces and wiping with microfibre cloth? Does it streak? Anyone know of a multipurpose surface cleaner that I can use on everything including glass that won’t streak?

I've only had a dishwasher in the last 20 years, and my weird brain says if there are clean dishes in the dishwasher it's the same as having a pile of stuff on the counter, and I empty it as soon as the cycle is finished, I mean the dishes are hot enough I have to use gloves to handle them, but they have to be out of the dishwasher and into the cabinet before I consider the kitchen clean. I don't mind loading the dishwasher, but I have to admit I'm a wash as you cook person, so first thing I do before cooking is fill the sink with hot soapy water and I clean as I cook so when our meal done there are only dishes, flatware, and cups to wash, and I usually do them my hand too because it only takes a few minutes.
