I love this! I sometimes do a perimeter braid and sew the cap down because lord knows once you cut that cap your scalp is in danger.

swear I just had the same realization about sew ins! my edges are naturally thin so they do nothing to help me. quick weave seems like the better choice, especially this method without molding down with gel underneath. great vid!

Girl yesss smh its just too much, I just rotate between glue ins & wigs, all my edges are in tact/flourishing lol but yeah I just remove my glue ins by saturating my hair in water & lots of conditioner. I just soak it untill it softens up enough for me to comb the glue right out my hair. I did this when i was natural also. It was a little more tedious but still worth it to me. No pain or damaged hair! Thanks for watching!

You are so pretty and that video amazing! Can I ask some questions because I am about to do a glue in quick weave as a protective style and haven’t done one before. 1. In prepping the hair before the cap is put on, do I braid or wrap the hair then apply protective coating? Does that need to dry completely first before the cap or can that cap go on while it’s wet so the cap sticks?2. If I don’t want any leave out, do I keep adding hair around my head until I have a small space for the closure?3. Do you make your own closure or buy them? I’d like to make mine but I’m not 100% how to make it lay flat. Thank you

I love glue in quick weaves. I use two thin layer "stocking like" caps then a "spandex like" dome cap glue the weave then take the thin layered caps off then put wig clips on the dome cap sometimes. I would love to do it this way but I'm worried about the glue. The glue didn't seep through the thin cap ?

It gets on my hair but I dont care because I either use glue protectant or just remove it with conditioner.

I recently cut my hair as short as your natural hair! Because all the products/dying I’ve done the past 2 years I wanted a new start! I’ve also done glue in extensions many many times. But never onto a wig cap! Does the glue seep through causing the wig cap not to slip off? Or is this meant to come off at the end of the day?? PLEASE reply I am really thinking of doing this! It seeps through & it doesnt come off If you want to make a wig watch my other videos but instead of hot gluing put a plastic bag over your hair & glue it on top you wig cap with hair glue then you will be able to take it off at the end of the day

What am I doing wrong 😩 EVERYTIME I do a side part quick weave after 3 or 4 days the cap begins to slide on whichever side I cut it at . Some people sew their caps down to prevent sliding. What's your trick or does this happen to you as well ? I know a quick weave isn't meant to last but anytime I do a side part quick weave I'm snatching weave out by day 5 .

Audri DIOR You have to securlyyyyy glue that joint down lol I cut the cap like I do in the video hen add like two more tracks ON top the left over cap to hold it on. If thats not working idk, try using bold holder before you apply nything & sit under the dryer to let it harden. I

You SHOULD put gel or a protective layer of the Grow Protect stuff that is sold at the hair store but I did not because I know how to remove the glue without damaging my hair. So yeah definitely use a layer of gel & some form of protection.
