I really appreciate your honesty and authenticity in every aspect of your life and then showing that in your videos - it's extremely relatable and sort of feels like "we're all in this together" because I don't know anyone who feels great 100% of the time (as it's just not possible). All to say, I love your chats and also know that you'll get through this because you ARE amazing. 🤗💕

There are definitely those days that you feel overwhelmed, and i just try to become aware of my chatty mind that generally likes to add to the drama 🤪 and runs it’s not so empowering stories 😬 my strategy now at the age of 59, is recognise it, take a moment to pause and take 3 slow full breath and with each exhale take my attention down the legs, to my feet and ground; and feel the space within my body as I let go of the tension! It was far more difficult to do it when my kids were younger, but my morning yoga, like your morning workout was my saviour. You are amazing and you are doing amazingly on all fronts 🥰🥰

I love dipping pancakes in unsweetened applesauce! My whole youtube channel is about how our family of 4 has maintained this WFPB way of eating for 14 years….being prepared and keeping it simple is key for us! Starch is also amazing! As much as I love fruit, I find myself starving if I eat tons of it instead of filling up potatoes or whole grains. Mcdougall is so right about starch being needed for satisfaction and solid energy! And yes, I can relate to never feeling good enough in multiple areas of my life. I also work nearly full-time, homeschool my kids etc. and being satisfied with my performance in every area feels impossible. It’s hard to be a busy mom. You are doing your best!

I'm am practicing getting down to bare bones before shopping, especially for fresh fruits and veggies. I am the only one that eats them in my house and I tend to buy to much. Isn't it amazing what we come up with! I just snacked on the last of the grapes and cooked up some probably freezer burned green beans with garlic and will have a lavash stuffed with mashed beans, a sausage patty made from oats, tomato, onion and a boat load of the sprouts I just sprouted the other day! Dinner!

Ami, sweet mama you are in the crazy messy part of life which is beautiful…even if it doesn’t always feel that way. All my babies are grown with some babes of their own but I remember those days. You are an incredible mom and you always seem like you have it all together. I have been feeling overwhelmed in life as well and I don't even have kids, just a dog and a disabled husband. I have been so lazy lately that I have been ordering a lot of take out for dinner. Definitely need to get back to batch cooking for the weekdays. What does James do for work? Just curious. Thanks for all your inspiration, don't change a thing.

Ah, lol, I had to look up coriander. I did pick up cilantro though which actually is the same thing. I know on a previous show fresh herbs was suggested and I picked up parsley, italian parsley, and cilantro. I actually think it helps with flavor with the other low calorie density vegetables.

When you started your journey, did you eat the same way? Did you exercise the same way? We all have our struggles, let me help you feel better about your situation. My husband and I just got a efficiency after 2 years of going from family home to another with our kids. He lost his job, we can't live together with our kids so they have to stay with their grandparents and we only see them on weekends. 😢 I just got a job and my husband is still looking. So consider yourself blessed.
