Awaara ! Raj Kapoor is actually the only one who deserved his fame. Not that other kapoors haven't made anything meaningful. I can even say that Rishi and Ranbir are very capable actors... But let's be honest, nobody would even consider them as lead (look at their faces) if they weren't Kapoors... I still think most of the kapoors are overrated ! Raj Kapoor is untouchable though. Just so talented. More than 90% of actors today !

FUN FACT 99% people don't know that not only great grandfather (Prithvi Raj Kapoor) of Ranbir Kapoor but also the great great grand father i.e. father of Prithvi Raj Kapoor, "Dewan Basheshwarnath Kapoor" has also played a role in movie Aawara. so not just 4 but 5 generations of Kapoor family have worked in movies. its just one film but still Dewan Kapoor i.e. grandfather of Raj Kapoor have also played a role in one of the best movies ever.

@ sad to see people realising that kinda late but there’s one more thing, the script, it had an explicit nature which is also why people liked the film as we as a youth like these kind of scripts now. but man i really hope same for abhishek bacchan too…. say whatever you want but he has some really wasted potential due to bad scripts… people want him to leave a mark like his father did but then criticise him for every performance even if it wasnt that bad and he can give some really good performances if just given some good scripts.

All are the descendants of prithvi raj kapoors cousin... They were pretty famous during their time... And gave many classic movies...
