As a cosmetic and skincare formulator, I can tell you that skincare absolutely DOES expire, even if unopened- they just give you the number of months after opening because that’s what is measured in compatibility testing; testing unopened skincare for expiry isn’t something we have time to do, and it isn’t required by the FDA.
