يَاأَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمْ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَمْرًا فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ فَارِقُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَأَشْهِدُوا ذَوَى عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ وَأَقِيمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ لِلَّهِ ذَلِكُمْ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا وَاللَّائِي يَئِسْنَ مِنْ الْمَحِيضِ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمْ إِنْ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَاللَّائِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ وَأُوْلَاتُ الْأَحْمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا ذَلِكَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُ أَجْرًا أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُمْ مِنْ وُجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَارُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ وَإِنْ كُنَّ أُولَاتِ حَمْلٍ فَأَنْفِقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَأْتَمِرُوا بَيْنَكُمْ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَإِنْ تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُ أُخْرَى لِيُنفِقْ ذُو سَعَةٍ مِنْ سَعَتِهِ وَمَنْ قُدِرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ فَلْيُنفِقْ مِمَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا مَا آتَاهَا سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا(65 :1-7)
O Prophet! When you people divorce your wives, divorce them according to their waiting periods, and count accurately this waiting period, and fear God your Lord. [During this waiting period], do not turn them out of their houses, nor should they [themselves] leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness. These are the bounds set by Allah and [you should know that] those who transgress the bounds of Allah, it is they who wrong their own souls. You know not that God might thereafter create new circumstances. [Divorce your wives in this very manner]. Thus when they approach the end of their waiting period, either take them back on equitable terms or part with them on equitable terms. And [whether you want to keep them or part with them, in both cases] call to witness two honest people from among you. And [O Witnesses!] Establish this testimony for God. It is this thing to which those are exhorted who believe in God and in the Last Day. And [if] those who fear God [encounter any difficulty], God will find a way out for them and will provide them from where they cannot even imagine. And those who put their trust in God, for them Allah is enough [to help them]. God is sure to bring about His designs. God has set a measure for all things. And those of your women who have ceased menstruating and they also who have not menstruated [in spite if reaching its age], if you have any doubts about them, then their waiting period is three months. And the waiting period of pregnant women is till they deliver the child. God will ease the hardship of [those among you] who fear Him. Such is the directive of God He has revealed to you. He who fears God, God shall brush away his sins and shall richly reward him. [During the waiting period], lodge these women in your homes according to your means. And do not harass them to make life intolerable for them. And if they are pregnant, spend on them until they deliver the child. And if they suckle your [child], give them their remuneration and decide this matter according to the custom after mutual consultation. And if you find yourselves in difficulty, another woman can suckle [the child]. Let the man of means spend according to his means and he whose resources are restricted, spend according to what God has given him. God does not burden a person with more than He has given him. [Rest assured], after some difficulty, God will soon grant relief. (65:1-7)

This is with lots of respect for Ghamdi sahib and is my humble opinion. Allah sw knows best: A lot of verbal divorces happen in the state of anger. At that moment the anger takes over the husband and he cant think logically. In most cases he is not in the right mind to think twice or think of drinking a glass of water. So he will continue and utter the words as many times as he pleases till the reality of those words daunt on him. Allah sw knows the nature of men. This is why iddat period becomes a must in between the divorces. So whether he pronounces the word once or 30 times in one single sitting, it should be considered as one. If he is really serious about divorcing his wife then he will not take her back during or after the iddat period. If it was due to his anger then he has time to cool down and reconsider his action and take her back. This ruling is to protect families, women and children. Islam makes life simple and easy. Unfortunately we have made it complicated. Allah sw is most wise and most merciful. May He guide us to make the right choices and decisions in life, Aameen.

Mi ex marido me divorcio 3 veces seguidas en el embarazo y por culpa de ellos que hablan sin saber ahora el piensa que nunca podemos volver cuando he preguntado a grandes eruditos y el triple talaq cuenta como uno. A una mujer divorciada no la puedes seguir divorciando no tiene lógica que Allah los guíe.

Anyway Husband has to pay 70~80 percent sacrificial role with this relationship because devil wants to break this relationship & husband has the major protection responsibility of his wife & family. Sir in mawtaa imaam malik book of divorce 29 hadith 1 Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that a man said to Abdullah ibn Abbas, "I have divorced my wife by saying I divorce you a hundred times. @@knightrider2863 I already have, those ayaat you mentioned explain the correct procedure that should be followed, but what if some one violates that procedure? Will it be nullifued? Have you ever heard of any one breaking any rule and than he is rewarded for it? If any rule or principal is violated than one is bound to face the consequences and in the case of giving 3 TALAQ in one go, one's wife becomes haram.. SHAILH ZUBAIR ALI ZAI has given the same ruling in this matter.

@@knightrider2863 The biggest misconception that most people have about TALAQ is that you have to give all three to break a marriage, but that is not the case. One divorce is suffecient to get separated, the period of "Iddah" is only to make sure that the womb is empty and their is no pregnency from the first husband, more over in that period of time the ×-husband can take his wife back without a new Mehar and Nikkah, but if that time is not utilised than, any other can also propose to that lady, and the x-husband can also give his proposal now it is up to that lady whom she accept. But in subcontinent the mulla and molvis have conditioned the separation with 3 divorces, which us not the actual case.

Just to clarify Ustaz has said that while uttering the proclamation of divorce one should be in sound mind, i.e. the person knows the consequence of his actions. If a person comes in an emotional outrage he has no control of his senses and utters divorce but he had no real intention of doing so. Jahil means a person who is blinded by his emotions . Islam is not the religion of blind emotions but of sound heart. A person may decide to give their partner divorce because the other is not compatible with the other. They become angry at each other during arguments. The issue raised here is that a person cannot give divorce in a fist of rage without thinking about what he/she has done. This is Jahiliya and Islam is not the religion of Jahiliya. Allah has forbidden such acts like Ila and Zihar called it Jahilliya. The proclamation of divorce in a state of rage in which man's intellect is covered is also Jahiliyah. This is not allowed in Islam. Allah has forbidden in Surah Talaq.

Ghamdi saab is basically saying kai dafa ghusay mein aakar log kuch bhi bol dete hain so if it's uttered in this state divorce isn't valid.. sooch samaj ke divorce Dena ka maqsad asal mein yehi hai ke donou mian biwi eik civilized tareekay se faisla kar lein ke "this marriage isn't working so it's better for us to separate" Your getting mixed up.. aap sooch rahi hain ke Ghamdi saab keh rahe hain ke agar relationship ghusay ya khushi wala hai. That's not what he's saying. He's basically saying anything said or done in a bout of anger so not serve as fair grounds for divorce.
