There was an episode on 90 day fiancé, where he went to visit his Russian girlfriend in Russia and was meeting with her friends, who were kinda interrogating him, and at one point he discovered that his Russian girlfriend had dated other Americans before him and had lied to him. He stood up as if in an act of reflex, very aggressively and facing her, and immediately one of the Russians (a guy) stood up to defend his friend, and he backed down. He only likes to beat up on women, he doesn’t try it on other men. I wish that Russian showed him then and there. That scene showed how he can get when he has a little alcohol and he’s triggered.

@@rosearellanes5648 and you know for certain those texts came from her? First of all, she wouldn’t be the first or last abuse victim to come back to her abuser. Stockholm syndrome is a real thing. Second, those texts never came from her. It’s very easy to assign her name to whatever phone number in his phone and say it was her. The evidence he showed (screenshots) never showed a phone number. What is wrong with you? This ain’t even the first time he’s been accused of DV, or the first woman to do it. His ex wife fled to Canada in fear of him, and he’s not allowed entrance there. Please re-examine your life defending someone like him.

No, they were not a «popular couple», they were boring as bleep, and the audience responded badly to this man from the very first episode. And no, people didn’t find him charming and/or normal at all. From day one, the comment sections were full of people reacting very strongly to him in a negative way. TLC dropped him only because the extremely negative response from people watching the show. It got so bad, they got worried about ratings. I really hope TLC can stop enabling and showcasing abusive people on this show. At least 50% of the Americans taking part in this show, are displaying extremely abusive behaviour.

The burden of proof might be on the prosecution, but Idk if physics is on Geoffrey's side. 3) This is an extremely violent episode. It can't be the first time he has behaved this way towards her. Most abusers move the scale of torment so slow that you don't even realize it's happening until one day BAM, you're facedown on the floor and trying to understand what in the hell just happened. @@rosearellanes5648 um hi, I've hung out with my abuser, probably because I grew up in an abusive home and it was pretty normalized. I went back to my abuser and I even married him. I can get along and have conversations with the man who r@ped me and threatened to k1ll me while strangling me (2 different occasions), btw. Luckily I finally separated from hom after the death threat/strangulation attempt, but he was trying to keep me in the house and not let me leave. I had to call my male coworkers who luckily helped escort me out of the home (it was my house that I was paying for btw lol, i left to stay with a friend to not inconvenience* him bc he had nowhere else to go). Why do you think abusers choose women like that? We feel for them, and they can hurt us as they please. I never once reported or called the police. That, I was scared of. Especially growing up seeing my dad taken away by the cops... Speaking from experience? Her brain was fd up, and she convinced herself that she missed being with him. As disturbing as that is. That's one reason why so many women go back to DV relationships and marriages. They often bond with their abuser and humanize him or her. Stockholm syndrome sort of thing. I certainly did.

She is lucky if she didn't have brain damage. Geoffrey needs to be kept away from women and the public unless he can somehow be fixed. I wonder if every episode he has had in violence was always against women he was intimate with and if it has always been when he has been drinking. I know people who are completely different people only when they drink and they often black out. Once they stop drinking that side never comes out again. He definitely should NEVER drink again. I am so glad she survived and she pressed charges and testified in court. She most likely has saved another woman's life. My prayers are with everyone involved that they can heal and get better from this.

It's incredible to believe a couple would go out for dinner, stay for a considerable time, enjoyed it, planning to go out again, reach home, whichever one takes the dog for a walk, return home and one party just starts to beat the other one out of the blue mercilessly for no reason? That's just too incredible to believe. Just don't add up. His version of events is a whole lot more credible.
