Hello, how old are you and where do you live because that's how the trial process operates not just in the US but ANY western country. This is nothing new as far as the defense trying to maintain the defendant's innocence and it's their literal job to defend them according to the plea the defendant chooses to submit, which in this case the defendant foolishly chose to plea not guilty. If the attorney doesn't do an adequate job defending their client a mistrial can be declared.

@@betty_boom7854 he lied about the plea, saw right through
@kath16482 жыл бұрын
@@betty_boom7854 that is what he said. There was never a plea deal. His lawyer said Geoffrey being Geoffrey said that and he laughed no plea deal. Why would he get a plea deal to say he is guilty and just be on his record. It doesn’t make sense. Any lawyer knows that.

I agree. Most defense attorneys do. They destroy lives, ruin reputations, and wreak havoc in victims' lives. I could never in good conscience be one. I don't know how they sleep at night.

Wth are you guys talking about. It’s innocent until proven guilty. Thank god you guys don’t run the legal system. Imagine if you were in court because someone accused you of whatever felony offense. You’d better hope your DEFENSE attorney would DEFEND you. Wtf
@paulinadeluca91172 жыл бұрын
She wasn’t the proven victim until after the case. If the attorney still defends Geoffrey after the matter, then your comment stands. But in and during court, it’s innocent until proven guilty. No wrong with being a defense attorney. If you were on the other end of the table being falsely accused of something illegal, you’d be disgusted in the prosecutor. It’s their job. And it is what it is.

What a restrained and clear judge. It must be hard to watch a defense lawyer try to minimize the horrible suffering his client has obviously caused and down play the menace Paschel is to women. Glad he isn't out in the world to date and maim and intimidate anyone else.

My god I always wondered this? That was one thing that stood out to me but not in a positive way for him more negative, like what happened to these boys mothers why aren’t they in their lives. I would love to know this bc any good man knows how crucial it is for a child to have his mother in his life. Also why was he looking for a foreign woman when this is all going on?
