The funny thing is this man could have gotten no jail time if he pleaded guilty. It would just have been on his record forever. But he thought he could manipulate the situation and failed horribly. Truly truly comical, he’s his worst enemy 😂😂😂

This judge was a class act. He picked up on this guys sociopathy. I love how he called him “sick and sadistic” as well as “image conscious” it’s amazing TLC even cast him. It was so clear what we saw on TV was what he wanted us to see but every now and than you could see the real Geoffrey come through one who holds a grudge, who has serious anger issues and believes he is right even when everyone tells him he is wrong. Love that he must serve his full sentence. Hope he gets roughed up and can’t afford the hair dye anymore. He looks awful just needs a black eye like the ones he gave his victims. Disgusting Loser!!

Hello, how old are you and where do you live because that's how the trial process operates not just in the US but ANY western country. This is nothing new as far as the defense trying to maintain the defendant's innocence and it's their literal job to defend them according to the plea the defendant chooses to submit, which in this case the defendant foolishly chose to plea not guilty. If the attorney doesn't do an adequate job defending their client a mistrial can be declared.

The defence's closing arguments confirm what the victims have testified, i.e. he knows & will use powerful friends to destroy his victims' ability to fight back, believing they would not be believed. Just going by his reaction to his sentence, he is a psychopath; his victims are lucky he didn't kill them, to be honest. If he survives prison, it won't be long before he murders his next partner, IMO. 😕

She wasn’t the proven victim until after the case. If the attorney still defends Geoffrey after the matter, then your comment stands. But in and during court, it’s innocent until proven guilty.
