First of all, this voice sounds GREAT. Better than Vocaloid, in my opinion. And this is probably the best vocal synthesis demo that I have seen - informative and entertaining. My problem is with the interface. You showed me the very good technical reasons why different vowel and consonants need to be combined based on "where you are" and "where you are going". But expecting me to break down my lyrics into the code needed to generate realistic sounding vocals is probably more than I am going to be able to pull off. If you could combine this excellent sound library with a front end that can analyze my lyrics and generate the the pseudocode needed to produce good sounding vocals, that's something I might consider buying. Again, I am really impressed with the sound of the instrument, but the interface seems intimidating to me.
@Realitone6 жыл бұрын
Totally fair comment. You're not alone in preferring that the front end would require less fiddling. We're hoping to be able to make it that way, and include an English "translator" that does the conversion for you. It's challenging, though, so we're making no promises. Yet. ;-)

Hi, I used to write a comment here with an example of the words Ave Maria: aah veh mah ree yah . Now with the Voice Changer application I did a test with German . Because English is used in the application, you cannot write in German letters. I'm sure that in Realivox Blue can also sing in German. Try to enter this text Eesh leebe deesh, or German sentence Ich liebe dich (I love you) . In this way, in the Voice Changer application I made the text "robotic runner" for my song in the style of Kraftwerk . I wrote: roboter loyfer (original word in German : Roboterläufer.) It clearly came out in German. Try it.

Yes, it will definitely work in FL Studio. You will want to first get the free Kontakt Player, though. That's a VST for FL Studio. Blue runs inside Kontakt. (It's less complicated than I'm making it sound.) You can get Kontakt Player (for free) here: www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-5-player/free-download/ Download that, play with it a bit, then when you feel comfortable with it, you can get Realivox Blue here: realitone.com

Just a note your installation instructions for player need to be updated. All you need to do now is set the serial number in Native Access and point to the Realivox Blue folder you extracted to.
@Realitone6 жыл бұрын
Yep, the instructions could definitely use an update, but we're waiting on that until the update is finished. As far as the upgrade goes, we're not sure how much that will cost. Most likely somewhere between $0 (yes, we're considering that) and $50.

What a great instructional video! I will definitely be picking this up. One question that I'm unclear about (maybe you mentioned it but I missed it)- After I construct a bunch of WordBuilder phrases and set them to keyswitches, can I save the whole bank of phrases so that if I'm working on a song and I need to close my sequencer and continue working the next day all those phrases I typed in will be there the next day? I'm imagining that if I just save the Kontakt/Realivox patch it will save all those phrases I typed in? Also is there a way to save a ton of phrases and them load them into Realivox instead of having to recreate them each time I work on a new song?

The lack of inclusion of a schwa-type vowel is a huge oversight in most of these programs. Not having one blocks of much of English (as well as French). I can't fathom why such a foundational sound is universally excluded. Also, would "I" come out better by crossfading the aa/ee rather than treating them as separate syllables? Probably something better done in post (render the two syllables into separate tracks and fade between them). I also wanted to say that the system sounds amazing! There are very few artifacts from switching between samples, and very little engine noise. Well done!
@Realitone9 жыл бұрын
Jeffrey Clark I hear you. Our original intent was not to do full on English. In fact, that's why I show the example she can't sing quite right in the video. However, lots of people (like you) DO wish she did full on English, so I brought her back and recorded the missing vowels, as well as a few extra consonants. We hope to release that update later this summer.

That's a great question. Normally I would switch from Vowel Legato to Phrase Legato (there are keyswitches for that), but there is another undocumented way that you can advance to the next syllable: If you're in Vowel legato mode (like I am in the video), if you end a phrase (no keys are held down), and then start a new phrase within a half second after ending the previous phrase, then Blue will move to the next syllable. It's a handy little trick! Of course, if you wait more than a half second, then Blue goes back to the beginning of the phrase, as you would expect.

Very nice it's elaborate I have a question though, are her vocals all under one harmonic tone or are there separate round robins for every note? Also what is the limit of fast and slow tempo before her voice starts sounding robotic. Also for future ambiances, please add the feature of separate microphones positions for more audio freedom. But very nice review highly sought out library
@Realitone8 жыл бұрын
That would be great, but bear in mind this sort of instrument is really time intensive to make, because there are around 20,000 samples as it is now. If we added round robins, that would multiply that number, which would add tremendously to how long it takes to edit. It's the same with dynamics - she sings softly, but if we added harder tones, it would add a ton of work.

Take this, add a 2nd set of samples (yeah, 24,000 total) and do a louder projection of everything, double that to create a variant for each sample randomly triggered and this would be mind-blowing! Or not. I guess if you need that, just hire a singer.

Is this only for female voice? Also, what about alto and mezzo-soprano ranges as opposed to the soprano of the videos? Furthermore, why not issue a trial version? This would be useful to test how it would work in conjunction with effect plugins such as compression. My observations from this video: 1. The 's' is a bit too short when it precedes 'tr'. 2. Some of the consonant sounds need to have a lower formant because they are too light. 3. This also needs an 'ay' sound with the vowel set.

Yes. Use the red "Repeat Key" (at B2) which plays whatever the last note you played. So for example, if you want to play a string of 5 G4 notes in a row, you would play: G4 - D2 - G4 - D2 - G4, which will sound like: G4 - G4 - G4 - G4 - G4. Give it a try and you'll see what I mean.
