As long as certain people have prejudice hearts in this world then there's a need to call things out at moments for when it is what it is...may be moments where it's not prejudice, but they're are many moments when it occurs

it never is going to end... this is political as one singular group has really done a number to push this, that when you don't get your way or you want something out of reach - make it about race... lower the criteria or standards, it's like the present day cheat code... for now. i mean the term "racism" doesn't hold nearly the importance it once did since it's been so abused over the past 6 yrs. but it will never go away, you're always going to have someone looking to take the easy way out, making an excuse why something couldn't be done or they didn't achieve something, blah blah blah... it's never about overcoming adversity regardless, it's always about an 'ism'...

I understand where he is coming from, but I think he is giving Wilson more credit than he deserves. One can easily argue that Tom Brady and Drew Brees had to bridge far greater “cultural divides” than Wilson, yet they were amongst the most revered players in the entire league let alone their own locker rooms. I think there is certainly truth to Wilson not fitting in with a certain type of player, but something’s amiss when even his coaches-two Super Bowl winners- are jumping ship.

Ooh ooh let me. A certain group of people were made slaves despite multiples other groups of people being available for slavery. The ability to leverage free labor is the foundation of capitalism, including selling the value of that labor on the stock market. Now, of course, a super bowl winning QB can't earn the respect of a head coach while a rookie can is traced back to the same reason one group was chosen to be slaves in the first place.

Whitlock is right that Wilson be getting unnecessary hate from other black players. As a black man that grew up Christian and suburban like Wilson, I feel like an outcast lol. I understand the frustration about private offices and special privileges that Wilson may have had in Seattle, but Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman act like Wilson is a terrible person just because he carries himself differently. People who call Wilson corny are corny themselves and not comfortable with who they are. Not every black person has to act like a criminal or take on negative stereotypes. Most of the time, we are our own worst enemy. I understand there are problems in the world but we automatically blame other races but have a crab mentality against our own. Just like the rest of us, Wilson is not perfect, but he is a positive role model in the black community in my opinion. He is a great family man and has Christian values. I’m rooting for the guy and hopes he finds a home with the Steelers for the next few years whether it’s starting or backing up Justin Fields.

Where did Ryan Clark mention racism. I believe Ryan’s comment was about the respect for a veteran player whom paid his dues to earn respect which Russ didn’t get from Sean Payton. However Payton gave Bo Nix who’s a rookie more respect than he gave Russell. You don’t have to like someone to respect them. WOW‼️ Can you prove with facts that the NFL has a criminal problem with the players? Have you done the research to make that incriminating statement? How many NFL players have been actually indicted and incarcerated for crimes? Please make your next podcast about proven facts supporting your statement. Let’s see real evidence.

Caitlin Clark is bitching about complete non-calls after getting blasted into the parkay by her opponents, and then seeing her and her teammates getting ticky-tack bullshit calls at the other end. Have zero problem with that, Jason.

Pretty sure In terms of a cookie cutter quarterback that wants to stay away from that life, Tom, Brady and Peyton Manning were just as cookie cutter as Russell Wilson, yet they figured out how to gain respect from the defense and the running backs lol

Ryan Clark just following Stephen A Smiths lead. It's obviously moved Stephen A's career along well at ESPN so he's just observing and replicating his mentors behavior and Clark will be rewarded accordingly. Those half and half suits he wears look like they belong on a mannequin in department store as a sample though 🤡

No. It means he doesn't always follow the rules, but he gets away with it because his choices often work. I think Payton respects Nix's football but he also knows things that Nix doesn't and it would be nice if he listened. This has zero to do with race.

It's called insubordination in the workplace - Travis Kelce did it to Andy Reid last year and everyone brushed it off. We all see the world through our own prisms. I can't recall an incident where a black QB or player barked at his coach like that. Brother's have been benched or cut for much less.

Don’t ever compare Caitlin Clark to the BUM. Russ is a pansy and that’s why Sean Payton loves Nix. Nix yelling back at Sean proved Sean’s point. Last year when Sean was yelling at Russ he did it so RUSS WOULD FiGHT AND YELL BACK! He wanted to light a fire but Russ has no lighter fluid. Russ needs people to stand up for him, that why if you watch the video he was trying to hide behind the QB coach Davis Webb and was begging him for help. Russ has a PR team and agents who speak for him to and through the media and even to his teammates!! Russ is the second worst trade ever behind Watson but kudos to Denver because they will be not only fine( but will be Thriving thanks to Sean Payton and Bo Nix.

Most football players do not even see the race of their team mates at all. They see a team mate who fights with them in the struggle on the football field each and every week through out the season period. Part of the job of a quarterback is to be a leader on the team. Leadership means to stand up and express your opinion as a matter of principle at times. Team mates as well as players and coaches have to challenge each other to be the best at what they do continually and on occasion passionate heated exchanges will happen. The important thing is for a leader not to take these heated exchanges personally and instead use them as motivational material to prove they are the best. This is not about arrogance this is about motivation and it is not even about being the best it is about how to step your performance level and that of your team mates up a notch to meat the current in game challenge.

Bo Nix flipped the play because there was some confusion and the play clock was running down. This put Troy Franklin against the Raiders best CB, HOWEVER, because of a defensive breakdown, Franklin was wide open and dropped the pass. Payton did not like the change because the end result was an incomplete and Bo probably snapped back because he was correct in his decision and the play should have been a TD, if not for the egregious drop. As a Broncos fan since 1996, I loved it but overall, is a non-issue.
