The reason why Mahomes has a lot of interceptions erased is because he would intentionally throw it to a player that he is seeing the DB committing Pass Interference lol. He has mentioned this in a couple of his press conferences. He also had some where the defense would jump offside, so it would be a free play. If it gets intercepted, it wouldn't matter.
