This is an excellent design for its intended use, a "last mile" vehicle for mass transit commuters. Easy to take on a train, and take into the office (safer than leaving a bike/scooter on the street). Stigo has several videos showing uses.

Watched the entire video and enjoyed it regardless of a couple quiet/ineligible sections despite being on full volume. A wireless mic pack might be a good investment if ya make enough to justify one, especially since yar personalities and style seem to have drawn in a reasonable amount of viewers/subscribers anyway. It'd mean you'd have potential for more comprehensive reviews whenever someone else were holding the camera etc.

The problem with these types of rides are that you can't actually use them for what they were made for in the UK unless they conform to construction and use certification, and if you do ignore the law you could find yourself losing your driving license and with a heavy fine plus points on your license. So these types of bikes are a complete waste of time in the UK unless you enjoy worrying about when the police will start to take notice of the law regarding them. The only thing you can use legally is the electric unicycle, which is daft because the scooter is more stable but the unicycle is not covered by the law and is considered a toy. Everything else is covered by the law, as the law states two wheels or more. So a two wheeled toy is considered a motor vehicle full stop, which makes these of no use to anyone living in the UK. The law needs to change so we can make use of them.

I drive a Kia Soul EV, I am noticing a lot of charging points are 15-30 mins from the centre of towns. And my workplace has a 22kw CP 1 mile away. I could plug in get a full charge and go collect my car at Lunch and bring it back too the Staff carpark.

Did I understand it right, that you used it in rain and it didn't damage the Stigo? I'm not sure whether I should buy it, because I don't know how rain resistant it is. It would be wonderful if you could give me your personal experiences with water.

Its fine in the rain from our experience with it.

We had it for the demo, but returned it as you need a motorbike license for use in the UK (stupid rules!) - even though I have a full bike license I wasn't going to wear a full head helmet, get tax and mot to ride it. Great everywhere else though!

Such a shame these are banned in England. My mates a Gardner and has three of these for running around the gardens of the larger house grounds he looks after, they’re fantastic for just zipping around and would be a great commuter option around town or cities but sadly not if you live in Blighty☹️

Yeah its a real shame the laws on the topic...basically as far as I can see everything is illegal :) Although despite this, it still has massive advantages as well, if you have no space to park / you have your own office / space at work, you can simply fold it up and store it off street. Second to that is the fact that you can actually get it registered, which can be looked at as a positive as well. For me, where I live, there would be little need for this (Although to be honest I would just ride it around regardless as I think if challenged it might be possible to get them to consider changing the rules), because its so toy like the chances of getting stopped are pretty small.
