@RealLifeGadgetReviews10 күн бұрын
Sadly it doesn’t quite work like that, in this day and age 10 second bullet points do have their place, but there is a lot of infill that some (not all of course) will find gold for their specific situation. In reality the review could have gone “This thing is great for complex big gardens with multiple areas, just bring it inside to set it up…the end” - many have commented the in-depth gave them points they have head nowhere else.
@somedudeatearth70410 күн бұрын
@@RealLifeGadgetReviews this is a thoughtful answer, and it deserves a thoughtful response; The "get-to-the-point" feeling is most pronounced at the start of your content. I suspect you'll have the most drop off in terms of viewership there-- at the same time, this is where you also present your alternative format (non-sponsored / real-experience review), which is a hook that keeps many watching (certainly myself). If, in that intro, I think, after you present your more alternative approach (which was, again, very much a hook) you quickly followed with brief, but concrete tidbits of what was to come later, you could avoid a potential loss of engagement (e.g. saying something like "for those concerned with regular maintenance, sometimes I'd find the bumper falling off..") Ok, this comment is growing long, and it is almost 2AM in the west side of the states, but I'll gladly continue this chat later!

It's getting on for 2.15am and I'm watching robotic lawn mower videos! Sheesh! However, yours is by far the most informative, so thank you. My Pembrokeshire garden sounds as complex as is your's... one third being made up of multiple small formal "feature" gardens, kitchen garden and orchard, the remaining two thirds is a meadow/paddock. Judging by your experience with a Luba2, it's probable that the little robo-mower (maybe) could handle what is currently at least a 2 day ride-on tractor-mower pain in the ****. My only concerns are: Can Luba2 negotiate the gravel driveway between two of the above zones; Being in West Wales there's (at best) a heavy dew every morning, assuming it doesn't then rain!; And can Luba2 handle the incredibly thick and lush Welsh grass? Any thoughts?

Thank you for this review! At the moment I have a navimow h3000. Great machine but it doesn’t handle bumps very well. Also the 3000sqm doesn’t cover all my mowing areas. Therefore still mowing parts on the zero turn. Upgrading to the Luba 5000 would solve both problems. A few questions I had are answered by your review. Thanks! Questions/concerns remaining: - the RTK signal has a 120m radius. My driveway is long and exceeds this by 60m. Wondering if it works. - I have many trees as well. The navimow handles the signal quite okay. Do you know if there is a difference in ‘strength’ of the rtk/gps signal? Greetings from the Netherlands

Great info I’m thinking about buying one of these units but am a little concerned about how it copes with cutting wet grass or dew covered grass. Have you experienced any issues with clogging up of the under deck or blades where you are? Where I am located in north east Scotland, the grass is seldom fully dry. I currently use a Kubota zd326 zero turn mower which is a heavy beast of a machine but will chomp its way through nearly anything
@RealLifeGadgetReviews23 күн бұрын
Its a different thing entirely of course to a ride on. But I have found having put it in place of my ride on - if you start out with the grass cut it will easily maintain it. It will church up the mud in heavy rain for sure. Also - checkout todays upload: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJeraYaldrR3pas (subscribe I would otherwise you might miss important updates like this!)

Thanks. Good to hear. I have had an Ambrogio for a few years and love the robotic mower concept. It is especially good in our orchard which has numerous low fruit trees. Getting under the branches with anything else is a pain. I am however considering updating to a satellite controlled mower rather than the perimeter wire that Ambrogio uses, mainly to get increased flexibility on using channels over tarmac paths (not an option with a perimeter wire) and also the ability to have different mowing heights automatically in areas - 70mm in the orchard, 25mm on the main lawn for example. My main concern though in changing is losing signal under trees, and the response to it. If the mower needs resetting everytime the signal is blocked under a tree, I just don't think the Luba will work for me and my two acres / 50+ trees. I would be grateful for any comments though from people who have similar circumstances?

Great video. I don’t agree with everything but your piece is very informative. Congrats with that. Having said that I absolutely love my Luba 2. The technology is amazing,much like my Tesla. Instructions could be better and it’s a crime that they offer you the pole mount instead of the roof mount which is a whopping $90. My only question is how long will it last? Will repairs a a major issue? The security of it? But as far as operational it’s amazing

Thanks for this video. Concerning the rain sensor, in my experience, you can swipe/dry the rain sensor to make it work again. On my side, the biggest problem is the fact that you can not move the RTK without loosing all you maps. You would think from the price it could recover them from the previous position of the RTK... but no unfortunately. Also, i got a luba2 1000 with less than 1000m2 but with a lot of steepy areas wich in the end is probably worth many more squares which makes the battery not big enough. It goes to recharge quiet a lot before the job is completely done. Which is not really a pb for now as it's brand new but will it still be the same in a couple of years? Wait and see. A part from that, i'm very satisfied with it!

You are not supposed to just ram it into a pile of wet leaves and dog crap and expect it to work (softly softly catchy monkey). As for no suction BLOCKAGE….. if the motor is running (which it was for blower) and the fan blades are clear and running….. the only other problem can be BLOCKAGE and probably full of dog sh*t. Read the instructions fully, use the machine correctly ie with TWO hands and accessories ie weight relief shoulder strap. In your case buy a rake.

I initially bought the 1000 model. My lawn (as measured by Luba on the first cut) is 220sqm. The 1000 model could not quite cut the whole lawn without a recharge which was much less capable than I was expecting. I queried this on the helpline. I was told that a replacement 1000 Luba would not be any better. I got a full refund and bought the 3000 model. This cut the 220sqm using 40% of the battery which is good for me. Be sure which model you need before purchase.

So perhaps worth spending the ~30% more and going model up. Just one question - any idea how wide yours is? (As I guess the wider you go the more flex will occur). *Also not 100% sure, but thought I did go for the next model up….will have to do some digging as the invoice doesn’t state model.
