Just found your brill video, very useful as I’m about to buy my first robot mower. I’m concerned about the position of the RTK transmitter on my property, can you advise; does Luba have to have a clear, unobstructed line of site to the RTK transmitter constantly? Trees are not the problem on my property, I figure if I mount the transmitter on house roof/chimney, lawn at far end of house will be ‘in shadow’ from transmitters line of site. Will mower stop working in this area? Also, do you know if you can join multiple lengths of RTK extension cable together to extend distance from charging station to transmitter? Thanks. Rob

I don’t really hear any negatives. It won’t mulch leaves and sticks. Well of course it won’t. I have some steep inclines that make push mowing very difficult and any self propelled mower that can climb it kills the grass. Plus those machines are bigger and I have no place to store it. This robot thing looks like it exactly what I need. Thanks

I am not sure if people are showing actual audio correctly? Yarbo have reviewed footage and said its normal, others have said theirs is the same as well…so a little odd! The unit is being replaced (as it refuses to dock), so I guess we shall see; because if the replacement is also the same then its how it is I would assume! 😎

Thanks for this video. Very interesting. I have had an Atlas PT ultra installed for 24 hours. So far I would say it is something like 70% effective. It is very good at recording people leaving the house, not so good at recording people arriving. Sometimes the connection seems to drop out. I haven’t tried continuous record yet. Overall I don’t think it replaces an installed, wired system.

Yarbo has been a great device for me but it is *SO* annoying at how bad this thing is at landing on it's charging dock quickly the first time. I've had indoor robo vac/mops for years and that's the docking speed and precision that I'm used to. The Eufy S1 Pro and 3i S10 Plus are the two that I currently have, both vacuums and mops, and they hit little bitty charge pegs (smaller than a dime) on the first try. My Yarbo misses the charge dock usually on try 1 and 2, then lands kind of in the middle on try 3-4. They need something to improve this. I've changed the charging location probably 7 times. Recalibrated it twice as much, with virtually no improvement. I see others online with similar docking quality. It's simply not good. 20:50 - that's literally horrible. Props to you letting it ram your car. That was great. lol.
@RealLifeGadgetReviews28 күн бұрын
Thanks for the message. So you have had yours doc automatically? (Mine has never docked, and is in the process of being replaced….although after waiting a long time there has been no progress on that so far). Have you contacted support?
@Unkn0wnC0mmand28 күн бұрын
@RealLifeGadgetReviews on the first support message it was a canned "make sure your gps is good", and "make sure the RTK is set up correctly" - essentially reading the troubleshooting pages of the manual to me. I responded back and haven't heard anything. My house has absolutely no trees around it, and I live on 6 acres of grass. My phone has a 62 satellite lock everywhere I go on my property because nothing obstructs the sky. RTK has a great satellite lock, and the signal is strong. Yarbo never says "GPS lost" and never had any trouble moving around my property in its workplan. But by God when that thing goes back to the dock, it goes full retard and is all over the place. It'll miss it to the right, move a little more to the center, then miss it to the left, then a little more to the center, then it either gives up or gets it right on the 4th adjustment or so. Its so bad. I do not know what all criteria they use to dock- if it's GPS only, GPS + vision, ultrasonic + GPS, etc. But if it's solely GPS, I have literally the perfect property for it to dock, and it royally buggers it up. I'm not sure if its a widespread bad hardware or how they have docking programmed but I've watched dozens and dozens of Yarbo videos and none of them dock well. My robo mop/vacs are perfect every single time and cost 1/5 as much.
@Pele-speak29 күн бұрын
The Yarbo has improved since this video with version 3.5.6. it is not as noisy as the video shows. I live in a quiet neighborhood. It has 4 speeds and I mow on slow (2nd speed) and I can only hear it if I am standing still. If I am walking, my footsteps overshadow its sound. I just got my M1 in Jan

Sorry to tell you bluntly but you bought a terrible quality door. The motor will last around 2 years maximum. If you lean on it in the middle it will fall through. Also. Not insulated, a huge gap in the underside of the box at the back. Also no safety reverse function (illegal) You would have been far better off putting some chipboard on hinges, more reliable. Yes i am a door engineer of 15 years and have to rip these out all the time for disappointed clients.
@RealLifeGadgetReviews28 күн бұрын
Yeah sound about right. Advantage is the other door was hanging off and well overdue for replacing, probably 20 years ago! So having this is a bonus...as long as noone stoves it it - then it works well for insulation/keeping out wind etc. Strength wise its like paper. (Not quite as its stood up to all the very bad storms we have had so far in terms of wind)

I am wondering after watching your video here on disconnecting and re-connecting the two terminals that control the height adjustment for the Luba 2 Mammotion mower if maybe the problem that Mammotion is having with the failing height adjustment situation could be fixed by improving the connector reliability by using a more reliable connector. These connectors and the pins are very small and delicate and it seems like over time they no longer maintain a reliable connection. I have been having the same problem as you have experienced and I finally took the top cover off of my Luba and did exactly the same thing as you did by unplugging and plugging back the two connectors. After doing that the robot worked again. I am going to try and apply Stabilant 22 to the connector terminals in an attempt to make the electrical connection more reliable and thereby hopefully solve the height adjustment failure problem permenantly. Stabiliant 22 is a very good electrical contact enhancer and I am hoping that it will solve our problem. Keep us posted on how things work out for you. Other than this problem I personally have been very happy with my Luba 2 Mammotion. I have been using it since May of 2024 and it is really impressive. I hope that we can get this problem reslolved permanently so we can enjoy our wonderful little robot mower!
