I just received my unit today. I read the book back to front. I was one of those who started to Google whether I could shock and electricute myself. I have had Tens therapy at PT too but I still got so nervous with an at home gadget. Thank you so much for your well informed video! You have such a fun demeanor, this put me at ease!! Very informative 👏 👌

One of my cons for this unit is that there are so many settings and there is no way to know what pattern each one generates. It's just a hit-and miss sort of thing. Also, when moving between the settings, the intensity always reverts down to 0, so if you are trying to find the best setting for you, you have to keep increasing the intensity and you can't just hold down the button, you have to click on the + button multiple times. It's a pain in the butt to figure out what the settings should be.

Just got mine and found your info! Thank you so much, it saved me time while sitting here with a pinched nerve in my neck and a migraine as a result!! I’m using it as I type this. It’s been on for 10 min (set for 20) and I can actually turn my head a little more to the right where I had no range of motion before! So excited!

After reading alot of the comments of your posted video I feel it would be redundant too express what I intended to express in comments..so let me say only this; rarely do I find such articulate & well informed information on KZbin..well done. I was already going to buy this same TENS UNIT however I was leery in my purchase being that I've never used a TENS. FYI your post has dwindled my hesitancy immensely. Thank you & God bless

That little plastic things is for storing the electrode pads. Simply adhere the pads to them and wrap the wires around the pad.

But I don’t understand why you wouldn’t immediately place the clear plastic covers that were originally covering the pads back on and put the back in the plastic bags. Am I missing something?
@Meela234

@@bettyakers2389 That clear plastic will get nasty after it's been on your body and you keep sticking the pads on it over and over. You can't clean off those little plastic covers it was on and they will wear out quickly.

Bad case of sciatica, rt leg. Got PT referral but, of course, have to wait another 10 days for appointment. Mine is dual channel, model AS8012 Auvon. Need help, but yet still scared of using it wrong. Video helps to watch, many thanks for doing it.

Don’t be scared! It’s great with nerve pain! My husband likes a lot of power. I like just a touch. So go slow until you feel what you want to feel. My only caution is to NOT remove the pads while the current is flowing or you will get a mild shock (as intended). I unknowingly tried to adjust a pad and found out the hard way.

Thank you for the video. We brought one of this to Brazil and we are almost there. The one question I need help with: is it normal to have short interruption during the impulses? It seems to briefly stop and restart a second later. We use another type in the doctor, and it is 100% continuous.

Hi, can you use this on your lower back and neck at the same time? Mine arrived in the post a couple of days ago, but I have only figured out how to do one area. I put 2 of the smaller pads on my lower back for sciatica, but being a permanent wheelchair I get regular shoulder/neck pain, so I put one of the longer pads across my shoulder blades, but I am still only feeling it on my lower back. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

Just a Warning: I found this out the hard way. If it comes unplugged from the device while it's on your skin (say due to moving) DO NOT plug it back in until you turn it off. It will shock the crap out of you if you plug it back in while it's on and attached to your skin.
@Allthingsfadra
@Allthingsfadra 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing. I ALSO found out the hard way that if you want to move one of the pads on your skin (say, to adjust the positioning) you want to turn it off. That goo on the pads is conducting electricity and you will get shocked! It was my own stupid fault but I won’t make that mistake twice!
@SurahmanDuang
@SurahmanDuang 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, Please answer my question. Do you feel it just like an electricity or is it like a massage? Because I was getting therapy in a hospital and it's like a thumb pushing your back, spinning around, going up and down and I really impressed with that. I feel like a ghost massaging me. Haha But before that, I also had a therapy in another hospital but it's only like some electricity in my body. Thanks
@Allthingsfadra
@Allthingsfadra 2 жыл бұрын
It does not feel like a massage at all. I wish I could find something to recreate a true massage! This feels like a small electrical pulse. It’s a weird, hard to describe feeling. I keep it at a low setting but my husband cranks it up! It’s really helps for problematic muscles.

@Allthingsfadra

I’ve recently started seeing a chiropractor again and it’s helped. I think the first thing is to figure out the cause of the tension (is it postural? is it physical?) But I found that it is helpful for specific pain like when I get a nerve punch in my upper back. And it also helps with general shoulder tension.

I have people tell me such units can help with insomnia. Has anyone had this experience, and, if so, how and what body locations have this effect?
@Allthingsfadra
@Allthingsfadra 2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried it but I would imagine it could have an effect. I would look up insomnia and acupressure or acupuncture. Once you find the right areas, I would try the TENS unit in those locations.

I have insomnia usually have to take melatonin or something to help me sleep last night I used my TENS unit on different areas of my body especially the ones that you apply the most pressure to while sleeping I slept great surprisingly. They definitely relax your muscles and I've heard that the electronic pulses cause you to release endorphins.

Directly from the product description: "4 Channel (A1, A2, B1, B2). Compared to dual channel TENS Unit, it allows you to apply up to 8 pads at the same time with the 4 outputs for much efficient pain relief. The independent A/B channel can work in different modes and different levels of intensities (e.g. you can select mode 7 with 3 intensity for your shoulders in channel A1 and A2, while in channel B1 and B2, this TENS machine can work as a back pain relief products in P3 with a much stronger intensity."
