Really Traveling with Hypopituitarism

Hey Anne, I just came across your videos and have enjoyed watching them. I have hypopituitarism which was diagnosed when I was 7, and now I'm 30. During the last 10 years I have traveled to my different places around the world, and I just wanted to share my experiences. I was hesitant at first to go traveling, especially for a long time but what gave me encouragement was when my dr told me someone with our condition traveled through the Amazon jungle. So I took courage from this and have since traveled in the desert, and jungle, which was not without its challenges. I had moments when I didn't take any GH for a week because the temperature was too much for the cool bag, and this was hard at times to get through. I planned that I would carry everything with me always as to not jeopardize everything if it's lost, so having people to help is the most valuable thing I found whilst traveling. To put it into context I am not someone who is an 'achiever' I'm just a normal bloke who fails at life often, but sometimes I win in what I set out to do, and this is only through focusing on what I wanted to do, namely travel abroad and widen my horizons, but this was not an individual success story to get what I wanted, this was only made possible through the help of others, and I agree with Anne as expressed in other videos, that people with hypopituitarism should share experiences and join up together.
