Cool review. I just got started on it, and so far, for just an EA, the amount of content is pretty darn impressive. You can definitely tell all the direct inspiration from Hades, but at the same time, the Chinese mythology aspect, on top of the different enough "boons" system, with all its intricacies, makes it feel different enough so as to not be a 1:1 carbon copy, and brings a lot of freshness to the concept. The game, while certainly not perfect (but again, it's an EA, so that's exactly what's exciting about it, the possiblity of seeing it improving as we play it) shows already enough promise for me to play it regularly in parallel to Hades 2.

ninja turtles splintered fates is a good hades clone...curious about this game too but i don't like playing early access games anymore

if you want enjoy the game more... then dont play it in dub play it as it was intended in Mandarin the english voice acting is terrible the voice acting in Chinese is far better than the read by the script "acting" that the english voice gives
