Thank you for the honest review. I just received, opened the box, and almost “threw it out the window.” You gave me the inspiration to try it!

What's funny is some of the fails looked really great and actually more realistic and impossible. Some of the fails added to the impossibility of the effect. Might be worth working that in.

Yes I think you’re right about the fails. It shouldn’t look too easy!

Looking forward to the arrival of my copy. I’m wondering if a “failure” to build the first time around would heighten the tension of the effect. Much the same way a tightrope walker will “teeter” or a juggler will drop demonstrating the difficulty of the trick. Not having it in hand yet, do the props allow for this idea of failure before success.
@RealMagicReview9 ай бұрын
Yep I reckon you’re right. Would add tension in the right place. So to speak.

Great detailed review. I saw the trailer the other day and bought it right away. It will be interesting if this becomes a quickly sold out trick. On Edge may only be a trick for a friend or family. Can you get to the level where you can reach the end on the first or second try 98% of the time. Maybe just a solitaire fun activity. The reason is that it is a great trick and not a toy is that the initial steps from the audience viewpoint is that “I can do that. I can do that. I’ve done that.” The two final steps are the Magic kicker. The use of ordinary cards instead of odd objects on top of each other makes it the best balance routine. So... have you reached a 98% success rate, and how long is the performance?
@RealMagicReview9 ай бұрын
Yep I reckon. And a couple people have it in their stage show now. 😊. Thanks loads

You said both "ready to practice straight from the box" and "a bit of arts and crafts". Could you clarify please. Big fan Steve and your reviews rarely fail to be extremely useful in choosing tricks etc. This does look special but I'd like to know exactly what is required. Thanks 🙂
@RealMagicReview9 ай бұрын
Ah yes. So it’s ready to practice straight from the box. But to perform you need to do a thing. Good point and thanks for pointing it out. Have a great one 😊
@tomwinder440210 ай бұрын
It seems more of a magicians toy rather than something to perform. Nothing wrong with that at all and I admit I am tempted. It will go on my stuff to look out for at Blackpool list.
@RealMagicReview9 ай бұрын
I reckon it’s good to perform. A couple of people have put it in their shows, but definitely not was strolling/walkabout. So limited in that way.

Great review. Building a house of cards is kind of fun. I don't think this looks magical at all. I think it would have been much better if the final phase would be where the whole thing balances on just one card. Really expensive too.
