This might be a rare opportunity to build "tall" for much of this characters life. Yes the diplomatic game is primary, but the development of dutches to specific tasks: military/farming/hunting etc seems thematic

Welcome back my Lord, feel better. Declaration of independence seems awfully ambitious on this guy. Maybe he sets it up for his son to knock it down. Or set up the son to be leader of HRE. $0.02

Well done on the series. I'm just finished catch-up and have binge watched this over the last month. Got me inspired to get back into the game. With many good tips and tricks. Suggestions for any future playthrough start as a tribal or clan somewhere out of Europe. Me interested to see the other types of game plays. Keep it up

I’ve finally caught up and am excited to join the advice council! Despite being craven, I don’t think the king should have any reservations in declaring war on Savoy. They are an inferior opponent far from the safety of his castle. Independence on the other hand sounds like a much more scary proposition. It may be best to just keep expanding internally against weaker opponents and set up his children to break away or usurp the HRE throne. Given the intrigue focus of the queen, it might be time to start scheming. While the king likely does not have an appetite for such skullduggery, it could be fun to roll play as if the queen is scheming a lot and minimally involving her husband.

You are behaving in crusades just like the AI. You're sieging a castle with a 10k army. In a neighbouring county enemy army of 500 soldiers resieges a castle you just sieged down. Instead of dividing your army to go and crush that Little enemy army and prevent them from retaking territory with zero risk for yourself, you just sit with the whole army sieging and the enemy retakes the castle and goes for other castles. Sad.
