Quite simple: It‘s because of the „new“ (or „newer“) KZbin policies, sadly. They have to blur drugs, guns, blood, etc to avoid a strike. And the simple thing why they blur the complete screen is: It is in the editing software way easier and faster to blur the complete screen and not only a small portion of it. If you do want to blur a small portion of a video you have to use one or even more masks and then track it with keyframes, so it‘s way faster to blur the screen for a few seconds. That‘s the reason 😉

In regards to K-9’s… Has a K-9 ever not alerted ? I wonder what a study would show with how many incidents K9’s actually alert on with no finds vs alerts with finds. I feel officers can just have their K-9’s alert when they want them to alert. Anybody have any expertise on this subject ?
