Queen Elizabeth II’s parents were not known as Prince George VI and Princess Elizabeth I. Before becoming George VI and Queen Elizabeth, (a Queen consort), they were known as the Duke and Duchess of York. The Queen Mother was not known as Queen Elizabeth I. Elizabeth I lived from 1533-1603.
