Thanks for the comment! I’m glad that you find my videos useful and informative. I know that the first time I flew (which was also the first time I’d been to an airport) I was extremely intimidated. I had tried to do research on it but others people’s videos show only bits and pieces of them going through the airport and the processes involved. That’s why I try to record the entire trip (as much as possible/practical) so that people can get a real-time feel for how long it takes to go from point A to point B and the signs/directions that they will encounter. Hopefully I will be able to take some future trips soon so that I can make more videos on more airports. I just have a lot of videos on ATL because it is the closest major airport to me that flies a lot of different destinations. Again….thanks for the positive comment!

I'm traveling to Dallas from ATL 4th of July weekend. My first time flying. So scared I'm going to get lost in the airport LOL
@bozy1063 жыл бұрын
No need to be scared. It's very simple once you actually see the process in action. Check out some of my videos of me checking in and flying out of ATL (one is of me flying on Delta out of the South Terminal and the other is me flying out of the North Terminal on Southwest). The videos are here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIeQpKyKqLmSibM and kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpncgYd4f89sZtU The most basic and simple advice I have that I give to those flying out of ATL for the first time is to watch what the people do in front of you and pay attention to the overhead signs. Don't be worried...you got this!

Hello. Thank you for the video. If you have a connecting flight. After you go to baggage claim. Where do you go?
@bozy1063 жыл бұрын
If your connecting flight is with the same airline and booked under the same confirmation number as the first flight, your baggage should be "checked through" to your next connecting flight by the airlines baggage handlers. If this is not the case, your luggage will go to baggage claim where you will pick it up. You will then go to the nearby check-in/baggage drop for your airline that will be near baggage claim. Check out my domestic terminal walkthrough video at kzbin.info/www/bejne/mn66c42gbc1shtU to see how close baggage claim and baggage drop-off are to each other.

If someone is picking you up from atl, which terminal (north or south) do you go to?
@bozy1063 жыл бұрын
Either. You can be picked up or dropped off at whichever one you want. Just make sure you and whoever is picking you up are on the same page because it takes a minute or two to walk from north to south (and vice versa) if they go to the opposite side as you.

I have a 615 am flight how early can you check bags in flying southwest? And thanks enjoy your videos!!
@bozy1063 жыл бұрын
Southwest baggage drop counters generally open 2 hrs before the first flight of the day.

How do you know what number to go to once you get to south baggage claim? I see they are numbered. Does it tell you on your ticket or are there marquess that say which flight is at which pickup?
@bozy1063 жыл бұрын
There are digital marquess that shows the flight number and where it originated from for each luggage carousel. Often (but not always) with Delta the flight attendant will make an announcement as the flight pulls up to the gate.

After you got your bag 💰 from the South terminal,how did your bag 🛍️ end 🔚 up at the North ⬆️ Terminal?
@bozy1063 жыл бұрын
It didn’t. After I got my bag from the south terminal baggage carousels I just rolled it through the north terminal because you have to go through that side (north terminal) to get to the off-site parking shuttles, Uber, Lyft, etc.

How strict is delta with sizes and stuff
@bozy1062 жыл бұрын
They are pretty strict with the weight of checked bags. As far as carry-on I have only seen someone called out on their bag it didn't fit in the overhead compartment or it cause the compartment not to close. I'm sure that some agents and flight attendants are more strict than others. That being said, I don't think that I've ever been on a Delta flight where prior to boarding that the gate agent didn't request volunteers to gate-check their carry-on for free. For those people who volunteer, they never have to risk their carry-on not fitting in the overhead compartment.

Im going tomorrow and where do I go to get picked up someone is picking me up
@bozy1063 жыл бұрын
Look at time 15:01 on the video. The doors straight ahead lead to the north terminal passenger pickup/drop off area. Any of the adjacent doors also lead outside to this area.

How do you know where your baggage is
@bozy1062 жыл бұрын
After exiting your plane and heading towards baggage claim you go to either north or south baggage claim (based on which airline you are flying). A sign at the top of the escalator going to baggage claim as seen at time 11:18 points you in the correct direction. Often if you have the app on your phone for the airline you are flying it will display the baggage carousel that your flights bags are being routed to. If you don’t have your airlines app and you are flying Delta you go to the south baggage claim where there are digital screens over each carousel that shows which flight’s luggage is being delivered to that carousel. You can see these screens at timestamp 12:56 If you are flying another airline and don’t have their app, go to the north baggage claim and there is an arrival screen upon entering the area (seen at timestamp 14:47 ). Also there are display screens over each individual carousel just like over the ones in the south baggage claim.
