Speaking of animals...No one in the comment section is talking about what was said about factory farmed animal agriculture. Everyone seems to agree that it should end, but almost everyone creates the demand that they supply when they buy meat, dairy and eggs. Can anyone refute any of these compelling reasons to boycott animal products? 1-Your own health (vegans are less likely to get several deadly chronic diseases) 2-Helping to end animal agriculture would reduce the chance of another pandemic & other zoonotic diseases 3-Helping to end animal ag would reduce the chance of the development of an antibiotic resistant pathogen. 4-Animal ag wastes a huge amount of fresh water. Each vegan saves 219,000 gallons of water every year! 5-Animal ag is a major cause of water pollution 6-Animal ag is a major cause of deforestation 7-Animal ag increases PTSD and spousal abuse in the people who work in slaughterhouses. Workers in meat packing facilities often endure terrible, dangerous working conditions. 8-Animal ag is a major cause of the loss of habitat and biodiversity 9-Needless killing of innocent, sentient beings cannot be ethically justified. 10- It is the single most effective way for each of us to fight climate change and environmental degradation. 11- Longer lifespan. 12- Healthier weight (vegans were the only dietary group in the Adventist Studies that had an average BMI in the recommended range.) 13- A healthy plant based diet significantly reduces the chances of ED later in life, and even 1 meal can improve bedroom performance 14- Vegetarians and vegans have lower rates of dementia later in life 15- A plant based diet could save money! You could reduce your food budget by one third! 16- A vegan world would save 8 million human lives a year, and $1 trillion in health care and related costs (Oxford Study) Links to evidence that support some of these are at my channel under "About." I had to scroll quite a way to finally find a thread that addressed this important issue. Veganism wouldn't solve climate change, but it is the most effective way each of us can minimize our environmental footprint. A fully plant based food system wouldn't end zoonotic diseases, pandemics, and epidemics, but it would make them much less likely. It wouldn't end the threat of new antibiotic resistant pathogens, but due to standard practices in animal agriculture, it would reduce it. It wouldn't solve the fresh water crisis, but it would help. Each vegan saves 219,000 gallons a year. A switch to a fully plant based food system would feed millions more people and save 75% of the land now used for producing food. That freed up land would let us plant a lot of trees to absorb CO2. A vegan world would save 8 million human lives a year, and $1.5 trillion in health care costs (Oxford Study) Add all these together, and if true, most people would agree that it is an important issue. Combine these issues with the fact that the mistreatment and needless killing of billions of innocent sentient beings cannot be morally justified, and the conclusion is obvious. We should all boycott animal products. Going vegan is the single most effective way for each of us to minimize our environmental footprint. "According to the most comprehensive analysis of farming’s impact on the planet, plant-based food is most effective at combatting climate change. Oxford University researcher Joseph Poore, who led the study, said adopting a vegan diet is “the single biggest way to reduce your impact on planet Earth.” “A vegan diet is probably the single biggest way to reduce your impact on planet Earth, not just greenhouse gases, but global acidification, eutrophication, land use and water use.”. -Joseph Poore, Environmental Science Researcher, University of Oxford. Joseph Poore switched to a plant based diet after seeing the results of the study. Links at my channel under "About." "A meat-eater’s diet requires 17 times more land, 14 times more water and 10 times more energy than a vegetarian’s, according to research published by The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. This is principally because we use a large proportion of the world’s land for growing crops to feed livestock, rather than humans. (Of the world’s approximately five billion hectares of agricultural land, 68% is used for livestock.) This squeeze on resources is only set to intensify. In 50 years’ time, the UN predicts there will be 10.5 billion people on the planet (the current world population is around 7 billion). To feed us all, it says, we will need to grow food more sustainably. Dr Walt Willett, professor of medicine at Harvard University, says we could eliminate the worst cases of world hunger today with about 40 million tonnes of food - yet 760 million tonnes is fed to animals on farms every year." -BBC Good Food Title- "What would happen if everyone went vegan?" As far as I'm concerned, there are very few monarchs left in the modern-day world that actually have real power like the monarchs of old. Antibiotics are widely used in our meat food supply. Excessive use creates more resistant bacteria to the point where anibiotics no longer work. Point being antibiotics shouldn't be treated like candy. Instead they should be more limited and only to be taken when sick. Not to mention people who don't finish out their prescriptions and let the virus live on, mutate/develop immunity and spread to the next host.
@Games_and_Music2 жыл бұрын
I think the same as him, i never get infections, and if i do, they will go away eventually, no antibiotics needed. But i know plenty people that already go to the doctor when they have the sniffles. And _coincidentally_ they are also sick much more often in general, as i haven't had the sniffles in over a year, and usually only get it twice a year during the March/October seasonal changes. There is also such a thing as over-vaxxing, which is simply the result of having gotten too many antibiotics over a prolonged period of time, which results in the targeted virus becoming more resistant to the antibiotics, which results in you getting sick again.

I have seen only a few threads about this important subject. The most effective measure each of us could take to minimize the mistreatment and needless killing of billions of innocent sentient beings would be to boycott animal products. Why else should we boycott animal products? 8-Animal ag is a major cause of the loss of habitat and biodiversity 9- Switching to a fully plant based food system would feed millions more people. 16- A vegan world would save 8 million human lives a year, and $1 trillion in health care and related costs (Oxford Study) Links for some of these are at my channel under "About." If you doubt any of them, I would be glad to cite evidence from credible sources to back them up. KZbin only allows a certain number of links at my channel.

Any film.. made or written by anyone will have watermarks from some previous work by someone else. It's the nature of adaption. And we build on what we've seen or experienced or enjoyed etc. He's a genius mate, and a really good guy it seems. Why don't you take an old film you like, and try rip it off in your own way.. I bet your film won't be within a million miles of anything you say Tarantino has ripped off. Give the man the credit he deserves.

@@thomaslangley1571 i don't usually respect people who steal movies frame by frame. I'm not talking about small homages or tributes to films he loves He denies this and refuses to answer questions about it in interviews. Are his movies good? No doubt, except his last three in my opinion. Are you going to deny that he stole kill Bill, or reservoir dogs, or Django, pretty much frame by frame, from already masterworks? I bet you haven't even seen any of the movies Tarantino ripped off, because you're a Hollywood junkie, like everyone else, so poor Japan just has to see movies being stolen, and they can't do anything about it because Hollywood is too big...

@@bigelowtech Tarantino has created a cult following - Cult followers only see what they want to see when it comes to the "Great Leader" because their worldview hinges on him being "The One" or "The Genius" - if you destroy the leader or his image you literally threaten their own self-image/self-worth and they will fight you to the death to protect that image as if it was a matter of life & death -😉🐾🐧🐉🧘♀
