He had an answer but the answer is unacceptable to most people that aren't religious because it's an uncomfortable truth. The truth is, God has reasons for selectively intervening and it isn't always apparent why some people survive and others do not. Honestly makes more sense for people to be agnostic or atheist than not but once you've experienced God, there is no turning back.

So we are gonna act like that "clump of cells" isn't half the man too? Biologically you need a sperm and an egg to have life. The man has the sperm and the woman has the eggs. But to say only women have a decision in this isn't fair. I thought men and women are equal but different??? But to say it's none of men's business. That is bullshit to believe men shouldn't have any say in the matter. The man's sperm is still half that baby/clump of cells. The baby wouldn't have even formed without the man's sperm and the woman's egg. Mathematically men should have a say over about 35% or 40% of abortion. Women get more of a percentage. Only because they are basically the baby's first apartment. So that means women would have 60% to 65% percent. That is about as fair as you can get. Women would still have the majority of making the decision. Everyone needs to remember that when a woman gets an abortion she is killing her kid and the man's kid as well. And now tell me that it's only a woman's decision. I perfectly understand that it's her body and life she is committing to. Let's just say if the roles were reversed. And suddenly women can shoot sperm and have a penis and men have eggs and a vagina. And the same laws and social norms are the same. Now how many women who are now men would want a say if half of themselves were being aborted. And that is how men feel about it but they are too scared or don't have enough balls to say so. Maybe ask the guy you had a baby with ultimately it's still the womens decision and it's her body but you can still say no to him. But women need to realize that they have both votes and the "Right" to kill her own baby. Men and women are both responsible for making the baby why can't we both have a right to kill it or to not kill it.

Trouble is a man can make the choice not to engage in unprotected sex, have sex outside of a committed relationship, etc. A woman can make same choices but once a baby has been conceived it grows within the woman. The question at that point is - does the woman have the right to end the conception? A life has started. The best people can do is make sure men are not irresponsible in this decision. That will help a woman with her decision making.

I'm 100% in favor of abortion, but your take on it seems a bit too extreme when referring to a stable couple. Nobody should force a woman to have a baby (or conversely abort when she wants to have it), but to say that the father has nothing to say is wrong. Same with cirmcumcision for a mother, if she wants the child to (or not to) be circumcised, doesn't she have a right to influence the outcome? These are decisions which both partners need to take together. In the case of abortion, of course the woman has the final saying.

For the last 30 years to today, less than 15% of Americans believe it should be illegal in all circumstances. Because they aren't 🙄 All media SHOULD question EVERYTHING. Questioning things doesn't mean you are ANTI something. It's when you ONLY report negative hit pieces, FALSE information, misinformation aimed at political opponents that you are obviously ANTI things. And obviously some things ALL of them SHOULD be anti 🙄 So it's not like everything should be accepted either.

most news channels are anti trump. that’s a fact. his campaign policies are rarely discussed on the anti channels. it’s usually a whole lot of bashing without being informative. it’s often times manipulated content as oppose to being straightforward. i understand trump does the same thing, but his policies are clear & they worked regardless if i like him or not. i see it like this: i’m hiring someone who can get the job done as quickly & efficiently as possible. someone who has had a successful track record - someone who can show their work. i’m not hiring someone to feed me bs while charging me tons of money for a job they’ll never finish or will likely be unsatisfactory, low quality work.

Suzanne Bartsch, queen of the NYC club scene says Grindr killed the club scene. She puts it like this, “I think nightlife is so blah now. I just don’t see anything new happening; everyone seems to be rehashing everything. Also, I think people are going out less because people don’t need to go to gay bars to hook up anymore. People also aren’t going out because you can have a life at home on the computer. It’s extremely depressing. I find it very uninspiring... but this is where it’s at.”
@BigBadJerryRogers
@BigBadJerryRogers 3 ай бұрын
She's not wrong but it's a larger explanation than that, as a long time nightlife afficianado I can tell you. This actually began with online chatrooms which predate the phones and the apps and it's been a gradual decline from there. The apps definitely ramped that up though. Lots of people also don't want to be in clubs where everyone has a camera and they can do whatever with your formerly private nightlife adventures. Then there's the problem of inflation and clubs being unable to afford the rent. It's a bigger sad story. I miss the 90s, now long ago.

@@BigBadJerryRogersthanks for the rundown! I grew up online. And am very grateful all we had were those chat rooms instead of phones and social media as it is today. I lived the online persona before the masses did. There is some good parts, but its mostly depressing and unfulfilling, fake even.

@@dragonluvaIII people had longer attention spans, got in touch with each other and planned where to go better and they were more free spirited and real because there was less self consciousness. One of the worst things I have seen in a club is a totally boring scene that someone is trying to make seem like the bash of the year just with the right insta shot. It's all about the image and not the actual experience and you can say that same thing about concerts. Look at the sea of phones in the air. Why....

Common misreporting of Dobbs opinion: It DID NOT say abortion will be decided by the states. It only held that there is no constitutional right to have an abortion, so it is a political decision left “to the people through their elected representatives.” That includes Congress. To pro choice advocates, that could be a scarier proposition. And, yes, I have read Alito’s majority opinion and all of the concurring and dissenting opinions.

10th amendment grants "police powers" to the states -- historically: laws that regulate "health, safety, morals".
@billbradley4878
@billbradley4878 3 ай бұрын
No, they said the feds have no constitutional grounds to regulate the issue at all. Meaning the 10th amendment applies. They did not say it has to be legislated by congress, they went point by point in the Roe decision and undermined every constitutional argument made in Roe to conclude that it is not in the purview of the feds to reglate it at all. So congress can pass a law, the president can sign it, and the supreme court will say it is unconstitutional. It was in refernce to "any powers not given to the federal government, or prohibited from the states, are reserved for the states or the people"
