Well, the issue most people see is that when she speaks about "her own" it almost always comes across not as take care of Americans but rather take care of White Americans. In fact, we do come in all shades and colors. Something she fails to clarify time and again. Or if she does she then goes on rants primarily focused on how brown people and black people are bad. That's where the disconnect is. Her verbage primarily comes across as attacks on people who are non-white. There is this underlying current and dog whistles that anyone who isn't white picks up on relatively quick. It doesn't take a genius to figure out. She manages to write in a way that , in her opinion, gives her cover to say some things in her books and out in public shows like this that she likely wouldn't says in a room full of people of color/minorities behind closed doors. I don't think she's evil, I just feel she's knows there's a segment of the population who will buy much of her horseshit and she decided she can profit off them writing in more elequent ways what isn't so elequent at all. As long as they keep buying those books and she keeps getting booked on shows as a rational point of view then she will continue to write the bullshit and continue to make her money. And that's all this is at the end for her, girl needs to sell her books, make her living and grab a little bit of attention. Problem is, many loonies who follow her can take extreme actions based on those anti-Christian values. We all are seeing the rise in hate crimes due to views such as hers getting into he minds of the wrong people. There's no question there's sick people out there who take what she says as gospel and act on it. We see the results today. The hate is out there in message boards, KZbin comments, public, hate rallies, mass shootings, etc.. She sells fear and hate. You are horribly mistaken. A wall does not shut out immigration, it encourages people to come in legally, contribute to society and help. I am not a fan of Coulter whatsoever, but I have to compliment her for coming into an environment like that. Also, in spite of disagreeing with her on mostly everything, they really didn't answer a lot of her questions and challenges. Example: 'Why should we care more about immigrants than natives, rather than both equally?" isn't answered by trying to make it seem like immigrants contribute a lot or that they do things natives aren't capable of doing. They should have called her out on asking a question with a false premise instead of responding with a rehearsed talking point.
