No doubt this business is hard. I've been in real estate for 1 year. I've been prospecting every day since March and still to this point I'm only on my 5th listing. I am running out of money and I might be forced to go part-time if my business doesn't take off in the next 2 months. I think the biggest stress is knowing that if I don't sell a house, I will run out of money. I spent a lot of time building a seller lead pipeline. Just hope I can last long enough to see it mature.

A lot of the things you mentioned are preferences. You thrive in structure. Look into the A-I Theory. Adaptive-Innovative Theory, processes and systems aren’t one size fits all. I think it’s more about being intrinsically or extrinsically motivated. Do you drive your own success or does the world around you drive your motivation for success.

Anything that gets you talking to people About real estate everyday will work. Door knocking is a tough grind but is time tested.

if you want SPECIFIC houses, then yes. knock and mailer all day long. Title pulls get close at its very hit or miss with the numbers they have on file.

If you want a “quick” sale then you need to outreach to FSBOS and EXPIREDS. You’ll need to outreach to so many homeowners if you’re going to circle prospect that it’ll require double,maybe triple the effort

Brother, as a full time realtor who has door knocked before (cold door knocked) which is essentially knocking on random doors, it’s not a productive use of time. It’s better than sitting around and doing nothing but if you call people, you can have 10 times the amount of conversations in the same amount of time as door knocking if you use a triple line dialer. When I door knocked 98% of people didn’t answer the door, even when cars were in the driveway and lights were on.. most people have ring cameras and don’t answer if they see a stranger. I know wouldn’t… pick up the phone and makes calls man.. it’s literally 10 times more efficient and effective & you can do it from the comfort of your own home and not worry about weather.
