Fun review Matt! The Nexus has been one of my favorite kites since the Nexus 2 launched. The Nexus 4 is a refined version that gives me confidence to ride any discipline at a high level. Twin tip, surf, foil, unhooked, big-air are all a dream on this kite.

I switched to the Nexus 2/3 from the XR and still struggle with how it has less power for the same size and way less float. I love how much faster they turn and how much better they drift... but it feels like the Nexus 2 and 3 give up way too much float from the XR

Yeah agree. You can’t compete with the float of the XR. They added some of that back to the Nexus 4 but it’s not the same as the XR. Where the Nexus excels is the all around do all kite sports in a package that is as well liked for a beginner as an advanced rider.

@@erbartlett different kite its like a freestyle/big air but its not recommended for waves
