Just now stumped on your vids. I spent 27 yrs on the road and just retired. I’m 68 now and shit hurts. Back,, shoulders,, hips,, you name it. But I really had a good time all those years. I’m gonna be looking for your good videos. Yes I understand !! My 3rd truck was a bad ass black W900 L. Wish I would have kept it so I could park it in the front yard and polish it everyday. Hurry up with the next video. Thanks for making me smile. Yogi Bear, South Texas.

One thing I love about truck driving is the scenery, the sun rises and sets, the fog in the valleys in the morning, those little moments of beauty... you've captured that. The other is good service, be it repairs, or food. There's nothing worse than crummy service and bad food when you're out and about. Love your channel, gonna pop on your podcast tomorrow on my way up the road... Drive safe brother 🇦🇺🇦🇺 from the land down under

Sounds like a great help for cell phones. I'm curious as to how well it would work in Northern Ontario running around Lake Superior. I watched the podcast yesterday, very interesting. I agree that putting young people out on the roads unmentored is a recipe for disaster. When I started out in the early 70's I did 3 years of mostly city work with about 5% close highway work. I then went long distance for a long time. I was better prepared but not enough which was learned by running with other guys more experienced & listening to good advice. Retired now, but still miss the driving but not the fertilizer that goes with it. Keep the podcasts coming as time permits. Thanks for sharing.

Your CB talk brought back a memory, I’m 51 now, but as a kid my parts bought me and my sisters a board game, call 10-4 Good Buddy. As I recall you moved around the board by pulling cards, each with trucker slang. I’m going up in the attic tomorrow to see if I still have it. If I do I’m going to make my twin 12 year olds play it with me. On a side note, congratulate your brother on his twins. Thank you for all you do, I think you influence people allot more than you realize.

I picked up cresant wrenches, pipe wrenches, ladders, jack all jacks, one time a brand new stillin the box gas water pump, ratchet straps, chains boomers, set of wheel chains, think all the driver did was unbuckled them and drove out of them, seen tons of boots or shoes, found a guys luggage that i was able to locate and aftera couple months hooked up with him and returned it for him. oh ya sort remembering 17 pin pullers and 5 strap winch bars, and even found my own Gloves i left on a deck once. it is amazing what comes out of pick up boxes or off a truck.

I remember the first Motorola bag phones came out in 1988. The salesman demo'ed it for me and the other Foreman where we worked in the Oilfields and then he said and the "best thing is and he threw it across the room and picked it up and called the shop phone and the call came through loud and clear". If you didn't know oilfield workers have a well deserved rep. of being to tear up anything they get their hands on. We were like "SOLD" our Boss was way mad because we bought a few of them and believe they weren't cheap back in the day maybe $1200. He said I hope you 2 clowns know what you are doing that was a ton of $$$$. Shortly after we ordered 6-7 more because of the huge plus it gave our business not having to go and look for a pay phone to call in orders for equipment and we were cleared of any wrong doing. That and pagers really made a difference in our business. you'll never know that hate one developed for a pager back in the day, and I have thrown many a pager to it's death. that's why we always bought the insurance.

Another solid video Jax! Appreciate the honest disclosure about ads! I'm not sure what brand the booster was, but I installed one in a boss's truck and was really surprised how well it worked. We were working down in a fairly remote river bottom that had zero signal, not even able to get a text, could turn the booster on and instantly had 3 bars and could call, turn it off and nothing. I was really impressed, but since then have read so many hit and miss reviews on different ones wasn't sure which to get, sounds like this one is worth getting.

I’d be very careful where you put that antenna booster or what ever they call it. Having it so close to your head might be dangerous. There are a lot of devices that can radiate certain frequency’s that you cannot hear but over time could cause health problems. I remember back when police had those big radar guns they would lay it on their lap between cars because it was heavy to keep in your hands. Many of those police officers developed testicular cancer and other ailments around that area of their bodies. I’m always cautious when it comes to electronic devices. We live in a constant barrage of electronic signals bouncing off of everything on a daily basis that I’m surprised we aren’t glowing at night,
