I would say the main reason why they took that L from Orsted so hard was just because there was nothing they could do and Rudy would have died if it wasn’t for Nanahoshi telling Orsted to heal Rudy. You also have to keep in mind that they have been traveling together for 3 years and at the END of the journey, you get clapped.

Eris wasn't ever one for expressing her feelings with words. She told him she wants to be family, wants his children, slept with him, left him her hair and left with Ghishlane because they aren't a "good match right now." I chose to examine her actions. She has been too much best girl since she met Rudeus. I feel for Rudy though, he is now totally alone. No friends, family or party members and broken hearted. Spoiler alert: There will be Eris' POV, so it should be more understandable later. And she didn't just leave him, she left to train because she thinks she would only get in his way and will have to leave him at some point. thats why she tried seducing him, but decided that it won't last long until Rudy will say that she's getting in the way (or she'll just feel like it), so she went training for quite a lot with Guilane (idk how to write her name), and left a note that they are un-balanced. Tho she should have wrote more, because Rudy misunderstood her. Edit: Her POV will probably be at episode 12 to not make her a "forgotten" character

I think this was the first time Rudy actually cried For people saying that Rudy is already a grown ass man they choose to ignore that his growth got stunted during high school and turned into an invalid person that never left his room even once until he was kicked out and died saving someone else. That's why he was so immature and childish, his mental age matched his current body, he only started to grow out of that stage thanks to Roxy and his only advantage was that he was self aware from the beginning and had some knowledge from his old modern school and the internet. About the Eris point, both were hurt by the disaster and loss but Eris, besides being older, was the one that forced the event even tho Rudy tried to avert it

Nah, Eris is in love with Rudy. She has expressed it even back before they mana incident. Its just that now she knows that her family is dead, Ruijerd is gone, and she feels like she holds Rudy back. She depends on him too much and sees herself as a burden. And she knows Rudy is the same. She sleeps with him because she was actually looking forward to the promise but knows that they need to part ways. She wanted to leave him with good memories of her. The letter was pretty vague, but she didnt know Rudy would misinterpret it this badly. But she will return in the future better than ever. The final Episode should adapt the Eris POV of this final chapter and it will give a bit more context into her decision to leave Rudy.

I can think of 4 things that could happen (and make sense at this point of the story that seems to be being told). 1: Rudy finds Sylphie, and we get what happened with her. 2: Rudy finds his mom, and we get what happened with her. 3: Rudy finds both, and we get what happened with both. 4: Some kind of growth, or maybe regression, for Rudy's character, but not overall "main plot" progression for an emotional hook for the next season. He seems to go up and down with those, so I can't guess which.

had to come back here after that beyblade comment xD my thoughts after the ep was that Rudy is back to square one like in his old life no family and no path. during his journey yes he wanted to save and bring back Eris but i believe he treated that as a "game" like after he died by Ostrid his finally words was like " oh man im dying again see you later Eris we had fun" he still in that old life mentality and him crying his eyes out i think he realized that. Like the next title he needs to wake up and start moving.
