Listen. Weird "guns" are all gimmick and character, but you gotta admit... If they added the sound of a dodgeball just nailing a zed to the ballistic bomber, you would use it more.

the Frost Fang is beyond S tier for Survivalist. The Survivalist's Melee Expert ability that grants 75% more damage for melee attacks also applies to the Frost Fang's bullets for some reason, which when stacked with Survivalist's +15% passive makes it deal more damage than you can get from the Support's abilities or the Berserker's abilities. One of a few weapons that is better on Survivalist than on any other perk. Fully upgraded, you can pop 6P HOE Fleshpound heads in six shots, and you can prime them with the HRG Winterbite (three shots to the feet to be consistent without raging them, same for scrakes) so that you freeze them with the first shot. Scrakes die even faster. Additionally, Blast Brawlers has an interesting interaction with Survivalist's Melee Expert spaghetti code. It's not a Berserker weapon, but it's still a melee weapon and benefits from Melee Expert. Because of some weird interaction, boosting the Blast Brawler's damage apparently boosts all of your explosive damage, so as long as you have the Blast Brawlers equipped, all of your explosive damage is boosted by 75%. This has some interesting uses. First of all, if you choose the HE grenade as your survivalist grenade, it will deal 855 damage, making it the highest damage grenade in the game (Demo grenade comes in at ~650) with 50% more range than the Commando's HE grenade. Beyond that, the damage on the Blast Brawlers is so high with Melee Expert that you can kill 6P HOE Scrakes in two clicks with close range headshots, and 6P HOE Fleshpounds in four clicks with close range headshots. Actually, who cares about headshots? Just forward-heavy a Scrake and then magdump into their torso for a body damage kill before they can react.

Came to comment on the missed frost fang's SS+ tier on survivalist but you beat me to it. :) On top of the insane DPS and how much fun it is to use you're also playing a very tanky survivalist with an extra 25% movement speed while you're using it. You can 1v1 anything.

what skills and combo do you use for the frost fang on survivalist. I always thought of him as a jack of all trades but not good at anything.

@@pushyrummble8625 I personally run RRLLL and start with a rifle or shotgun. 2nd round when I can't afford a Frost fang yet, I get new set of both with a single revolver. This counts as a sharpshooter weapon so you get fast reload speed on all 3 guns. Selling starting gun and buying a new one makes ammo cheaper on a lot of weapons. Keep those until I get the frost fang and then use that with a winchester/revolver or something. Later on I roll Frost Fang +2 and a kaboomstick but anything works as a second gun.

Ah . Finally someone who has actually looked at the stats and seen the power of the BlastBrawlers on survivalist with Melee expert skill, personally it's one of my most favorite weapons in the game . The piercing of shotguns, the explosions of a demo, the movement speed of a melee weapon and the crazy damage on par with top support shotguns. I wish more people would look at the stats and make the connection between how overpowered BlastBrawlers are on survivalist with Melee expert, It's also pretty fun on Support with High capacity magazine skill, but it takes the cake as survivalist when benefiting Make Things go Boom+ Melee Expert, personally I prefer blast brawlers to FrostFang on survivalist, although I agree with everything you mentioned about it.

59:51 Just wanted to say that a lot of people don't know that molotovs can STACK together! When you stack all 5 molotovs they do CRAZY amount of damage to bosses if you can keep them in the fire for a few seconds (this usually requires to come close to boss and bait for melee attack so that the boss stays longer in the fire). And if you have 2-3 firebugs you can stack 10-15 molotovs and any boss just melts, provided you can keep him/her in the fire. Hans melts the fastest cause he's weak to fire. King Fleshpound melts the slowest because of his 80% fire resist when he's enraged. But they all melt if you stack fire, especially if you combine molotovs with groundfire weapons like HRG Dragonsblaze or Dragonsbreath. This is the new boss speedkilling technique I've accidentally discovered when playing around with fire :)

I got back into the game recently to get all the achievements again after a good 4-5 years of not playing and your videos were really helpful to get info on all the new weapons and ideas for HOE loadouts. Keep up the great work!

I like the drones. Even off perk, they help a lot for little weight. I usually deploy them on some rear choke points where most of my team don't want to bother overwatching. The result is there are less pesky trash zeds creeping up from behind or between to annoy us. If there are more people using at the same time, they are like having an extra player or two in the team.

I can't believe you called killer watt secondary "meh". on a 12 player server with enemy scaling, it can single handedly mow down a full hp fleshpound . its the highest dps attack in the game.

You forgot the HRG Incendiary rifle is one of firebugs most insane zed time weapons with infinite ammo. It can fire 4 shots per second during zedtime so with a commando extending it, you can spamfire the grenade and literally rain down hell. It can also deal a huge amount of Ballistic_Shell damage during this time too.

I can't believe Steam sold my data to Google. I haven't touched Killing floor 2 in years. I came across it on Steam as I was browing Online Co-op category for some games to play. I clicked on Killing floor 2 just to read the revieew and contemplate if I should jumped back in or not. I don't search this game content on Google, or particularly YT. Yet, this video popped on my YT homepage. Welldone Steam.

Only one I don't get is why people have moved away from the flamethrower. I still pick it up all the time. Works great with the stumble perk, cleans anything small and can be held with helios to round you out

I think the berserker's grenade could have used an extra note about it's ability to stuff certain boss functions, particularly the matriarch's more annoying moves like her laser! If you use the EMP grenade or other electric weapons, you can prevent her from doing certain things and make her MUCH more manageable. I just came back to the game like a week ago and she's been the bane of my existence the entire time

@@EternalGruntSetsu Sorta! She's a lot more manageable on most official maps, but the majority of community maps don't have the multitude of corners and other obstacles to interrupt her beams and other ranged attacks, making her unbeatable on certain maps

I would disagree with the demo's drone. We like to put it outside a door and then have a demo weld it. It keeps zed numbers down and lets us focus on other entry points. It's definitely not good for bosses or larger areas, but in tight hallways, it's amazing.

I love the dual spit fires. I find it really effective when pair with the ground fire(I forgor the perk name) and extended mags. You can just spray in 3 directions and cover EVERYTHING in fire that slows the zeds down and burns them down faster than a cotton ball

I love the drones so dearly but yes they are on the weak side with low damage and poor AI, but my hope is that it's a test for an engineer perk in 3

As a commandoplayer i agree on the minigun IT just doesn,t makes sence on higher difficultys but for Players who Just want to have fun on normal or hard difficulty It ist ok

M99 oneshots Scrakes on any difficulty with a good Sharpshooter build which is a lifesaver with good teamplay

I am a Glock'n'Shield Stand and will forever be one. Even as a Survivalist because I can carry such wacky load out combos And I always play as Briar when I want to use the riot shield. It just fits lol

Regarding Piranha Pistol, I kinda think that Single Piranha is A tier and Dualies is B tier. Single Piranha is a massive buff to the Berserker's early-game survivability, allowing him to thin out trash hordes before engaging them in melee which and pairing it with the Vampire Skill allows the weapon to make up for the Summer 2021 damage resistance nerfs, to the point where they can last you well after a Zweihander purchase and at that point, you'll probably sell it for a Teslalauncher. As for dual Piranha Pistols, the massive reduction on reload speed kills it for me. If i have to take Dual Piranhas, it'd likely be as a response to the Abomination

Piranha pistol is easily S tier due to its damage if u run butcher instead of vampire and run parry perk it can melt bosses with ease. I wouldn’t normally use it on normal waves tho as u can just use hemoclobber and pulveriser and utilise parrying to make the resistance nerf not so bad

Does the 401 medic AR scale well with the upgrade ? Especially the healing dart recharge. I wonder if the upgrade is worth it.

No not for medic. But I don’t usually upgrade it. I get that and the shotgun and upgrade the shotgun once. The smg is good to upgrade if you take the grenade launcher with it

@@ethancoleman-kj6cc It is good for boss wave, but I think you will kill all the other zeds with one or two shots. I guess it depends on your perks. Usually I run all damage perks.
